I found a great yardsale a week ago, after that I found out some of the items were donated to a local church for their yard sale and went to that too to look for things I missed. Tons of vintage things and antiques were there. Things were not typical yard sale prices but I still got great deals.

For $86 I walked away with...

2 My Child Dolls (which I sold for extra money for 40 & 65 each)
The only non vintage thing, a g3 Spring basket still MIP
4 Care Bear and Care Bear cousins, Peppymint the Yum yums cat, and some misc. cute plushes

and the best for last....... Megan's Place with it's box and some ponies for only......... $5!!! I didn't even realize it was worth so much. In the box was Megan, two Sundances, Tootie tails, Windy, baby sea light, and a sparkle baby (i forget who right now), most of the accessories and a princess hat.

OH MY GOSH!!!! You are SO FRIGGIN LUCKY!!!!! YAY for GRAMS!!! :yay: And YAY for a YUM YUM!! And wow oh wow...Megan's Place. Now THAT is a score for the books!! I would have fainted. I STILL may faint!!! That's just too awesome.

Wow what a huge haul you got! Definately would've needed an empty trunk for that much stuff. Congrats!!!

thank you. i've almost made my money back the two my child dolls were $30 together. also saw that i got ss heart throb, ss bangles (poor dear has a broken horn), and a blue g1 with sort of long hair in party time's pose, i forget her name too right now.


if anyone wants to set up a trade or sale, these two ssc books are extras for me : cooking fun, and strawberry shortcake and her friends, and then the mlp book spike and the magic shoes.

Ooooh! I love to see what people find at yard sales and such! What a good hit! :yay:

I'm gonna be going to a couple flea markets, one tomorrow afternoon, and one on Saturday morning. Maybe I'll find some more gold :) There's tons of stuff where I found Mimic. I was with my fiancee and handed Mimic to him while I picked through a box and he's like OMG!, what am I doing holding a MLP?! Why are we buying this? Lol!
The woman where we got her from has tables and tables filled with stuffed animals and stuff like that that goes up pretty high, hundreds of action figures, accessories and a lot of MIB stuff. I am just gonna take my time and dig through all that. I love those kinds of sales!
