WTH? Ebay reducing prices?

LOL! No I haven't received notice like that or heard of that until now...I occasionally get super cheap listing and stuff, but not too often...
 
Yup, they will still find a way to fee you. :(
 
It’s a total disguise!

They are trying to downplay the fact that they are implementing a HUGE rate increase by raising the Final Value Fee from 5.25% to 8.25%!!
Save you a few cents in the listing but charge you way more at the end of the auction.
eBay is losing their minds and sellers with these new changes.

I'd love to get all the sellers together and boycott Ebay for a bit. They are really screwing us over. I'm through with it!
 
I have signed up for the live conference thingy on Friday at 1 pm ( I believe that is the time of it), If you want to start a new thread, I will print off all the complaints and ideas that we have for improvements and try to get myself heard, if that is even possible. I believe that the new things being implemented are going to make ebay worse and not better, both as a buyer and a seller. It discourages new sellers from joining, discourages old sellers from continuing, and encourages buyers to be dishonest, which in turn hurts us honest purchasers.

That's great Nixie. Hopefully with enough voices heard something can be done about this. I really hope somebody GOOD happens in the end. I would really like to continue working on eBay. Do keep us informed.

Actually they hiked it 8.75% (from 5.25%) of the initial $25.00. That's an increase of 3.5%! When you do the math anything that sells for over $12 covers their oh so generous 5 cent discount and 35 free gallery. Everything that sells above that is more profit for them.
The worst part though, is them trying to disguise this rate hike as a discount. They must think we're idiots!
 
This is pretty much going to make me close my store. Most of my items sell cheap (under $10) I barely break even with all the fees. They're pushing me out of business. :(

Oh and did you see the new feedback rules? Sellers won't be able to leave buyers anything but a positive. That's just not fair. I've had buyers pay me super late and I can't give them a star or a neutral? Crazy. And what about the buyers that don't want a refund... we give them one and they leave a neg anyways? :mad: Way to go ebay.
