I'm not 100% sure where to put this as some people don't consider writing an "art", but since it's also a commission-based "artistic" thread, I didn't want it to get lost in the sales forum - mods feel free to move this wherever you think it should go. Or delete it altogether if you think it unsuitable, but since artists sell their commissions over in the MLP Art thread, I figured I'd be safe.

I have no idea if this will work, but I thought I'd give it a try and see how things went, or if there was any interest at all in such a thing. So here goes:
As a writer, I am trying to get more practice in writing to other people's specifications and ease towards working with more of a deadline. I am also (due to many circumstances) very short on cash right now, so I came up with this idea.

WRITING COMMISSIONS:
Have you ever had a great idea that you just can't find the words to put down on paper? Ever wanted to know what you would be like if you were the main persona in a fairy tale? Looking for the perfect gift for a loved one? A token for a wedding anniversary? A child's birthday present? Perhaps I can help you out.
PRICING:
Poem/"ficlet" (one page or less) - $1.50
Short Fiction ( two - five pages) - $5
Semi-short fiction (Five - 10 pages) - $10
Long fiction (10 pages and above) - $15
THE GUIDELINES:
I am willing to write any subject matter to any muse, with the following exceptions:
- no fan-fiction. I will not work with copyrighted characters for profit, one can get into BIG trouble for that. Original or real-life based character ideas only please
- No graphic depictions of certain illegal activities, if you need specifics on this, PM me, I don't want to list them in a forum with minors.
Other than that, anything goes. Send me whatever details you want, as well as an estimate of how long you aim for the piece to be (or even just what price range you're looking at).
THE PRODUCT:
The finished product will be delivered in the form of a PDF file, fully formatted with pretty fonts and all. One page pieces will be formatted in a way that is suitable for framing.
ON PAYMENT: Since this is an experiment, and something I'm just dabbling in to see if there's any interest, I will not be requiring payment in advance. What I will do instead is notify you when your piece is finished to my satisfaction, then ask for payment. This means that if for some reason I stall or otherwise cannot deliver, no one is out money.
So that's it. If you're interested, send me a PM and I'll see what I can get rolling! If you want examples of my previous work, I'll be posting some on my blog shortly.
