Kinda a trick question with in a few days your system begins to eat itself so you kinda eat yourself even if you say you will starve. Personally if there were other in the party cannibalism sounds interesting if you had to do it.

I've lived in what I think were haunted houses, so I think I would pick caretaker at a cemetery, just to see what went on there!

I would want to adopt both! I absolutely adore giant animals so I would adopt the large dog but I wouldn't want to leave the poor hairless pup behind :(
