Would you be interested in buying Pony Christmas cards?

I know it's a bit early, but I'm just planning this and want to know if it's a good idea or not. ;D So please let me know what you all think!


I was thinking that I'd make a couple of different Christmas card designs and offer them for sale. They would be computer drawn by me and printed in a Photography Store on a photograph paper, sized about 10cm x 14.5cm, which means 3.9in x 5.7in.

There will be some (store's) text behind the card so they are at their best when glued on to a coloured cardboard. I might even get them made as real cards even though it's a bit more expensive, if a lot of people are interested in ordering! Then they would either be postcards or two-part folded cards.

I think the price would be about $2.50 - $3 for a card and postal costs $1 - $2 for as many cards as you wish to order. Even for the real card bases instead of photograph sort of bases the maximum price would be $3.50 per card, though. Which ones do you think would be a better idea?



Here's a sample card, too. I made this one for a MLP meeting last year, but also the Christmas the cards would be something like this. Just better quality, since this is old artwork. ;D

I'm planning to make two different cards that you could order. (Maybe one with "Merry Christmas!" and one with "Happy Holidays!" text.) I'm also open to requests on which ponies would be pictured in the cards, they would be G1 cards.


Please let me know if you would be interested in buying Christmas cards like this or not, then I can think of this further. :D You can also already let me know which pony or ponies you would most like to see on the cards!
 
OH! I'd be interested! And who do I want to see? Monty, of course. Minty and Twinkle Twirl. TT isn't to Christmassy.. but she's awesome anyway XD

Maybe if you had time and stuff you could make cards out of personas. Yeah, no? Just an idea :p

But I would love to buy one if you make them, really.
 
If it would be possible to make Chanukah cards that would be really nifty.

But all together the idea sounds awesome. I might purchase some if they were offered. :)
 
Hehe, I think the themes in the cards will just be wintery, not religious, being that I'm not a Christian myself. Just that the holiday is called so Christian in English.. :p

But if someone likes the card, but wishes to have a different text, that can be easily arranged, at least with the photograph type of cards. I know very little about Chanukah, but I can write Happy Chanukah on the card. ;D

I suppose I might even be able to make persona cards, I'll have to think about that!
 
Just bumping this to ask if more people are interested! Otherwise it's going to mean no Christmas cards, hehe.

Here's the way the cards would be, similar with these in the other topic by me: Princess Pony Postcard.

So far, I don't think there are enough people interested, so at this moment I'm freezing the idea unless some others are interested too.


For those who have wanted some cards so far, I can offer to sell some Princess Primrose cards if you want those, because of the fact that I'm not going through with the Christmas card idea.. (They'd be $3.00 + postal costs $1.00 for any amount.)

Sorry about that, if you got all excited about the cards! I'll keep an option open if more people would like to purchase cards, but for now.. The Princess cards are all I've got.
 
Aww, I'd love to buy some Pony Christmas cards! :D Especially if they'd have Gusty on them... that would be awesome.

I think it's a great idea and I hope you get more interest in them so you will make them! :)
