Why a hanger?

I just got a new Sweet Belle, and noticed she have a heart with a hanger on her front hoof.
But, isnt a hanger too weird? Looks kinda nonsense to me... *removing with accetone*

Does it have any sense or special meaning?

The hanger means that the pony clothes line will fit this pony. There are some ponies that come with outfits and so to identify which ponies can wear them, hasbro put a hanger on the cutie mark.

According to the package of some of them, that symbol just means that that particular pony can "wear most Dress Up fashions."

Ooooh o.o got it.
I never got any of those outfits... but still think they could make something better than a hanger...
Are the ones with the hanger the same ones with no magnet?

i found alot of the clothes will fit some G1's, we had applejack all decked out in the hula skirt and necklace. And a pinkie pie's party hat.

I think that having a hanger on the pony is kinda weird... couldn't they come up with another way of letting them know you can dress them up? *scratches head*

When I was 3-6 I would probably just try the outfits in all my ponies
And some would look great to me even if they dosent really fit ehehehe.
I dont have kids, but I ask myself how much they really care? I didnt even noticed the package message about the hanger, i just took the pony out and started to comb it

I think I need some kids
