But aside from that...most people I see on here have a specific pony they LOVE to collect. It's the pony they want to get from each generation, the one they want customs of, etc.

The pony I'm mad about is the G2 Trixiebelle. I really like the G1 Barnacle, but I haven't gone nuts over him quite yet.

So, what pony (or ponies) did you fall in love with and go crazy over?! Post pics if you have any.

Haha, Rapunzel? Do you have multiples of her? I can imagine that obsession adding up pretty quickly.
 
twinkle eye ponies are my fave :) I have almost all of them. I'm only missing 2-3 of them now (mimic I've had for years).

I also love the rainbow curl ponies :) I think I have all of them in transit to me right now :)
 
Sparkle pony Sky Rocket. Both MO and store versions.
Reasoning? She was the only childhood pony I could save from the garage sale.
 
Haha, I love your reasoning, Willow. It's a good one and cheaper than most people too.

and my army pony is quackers...I love her so much, I had a baby quackers as a kid, and remember her being my favorite because of her hair, it must have transfered over to adulthood.... the only bummer is she's white so it's hard to find them in "mint" shape at time's.

Hmm the pony I have most of at the minute is Uk adult sea pony SURF DANCER Ive got 30 of them so shes my major but my fav sea pony is sea mis I have 4 so far.

Cant really get customs of sea ponies because they'd be mermaid varients if made lol.

But normally ponies that i have more than one of is Gusty, Ive got three glitter ones, two uk ones a so soft and a baby gusty so mini army there but nothing compared to my school of sea ponies.

I love quackers, especially her hair. haha, thats why i like her too.

I don't have any sea ponies, hmmm...they might be fun to have, though. I can see why it wouldn't be as satisfying to get merpony customs of a seapony, though.
 
Tex and, accidentally, Star Catcher... :) (The regular sized plastic-winged one is packed away in a box, but I do have her.) Little McTex is by Tsukikakushi.

I think my army is mostly Moondancer and Baby Moondancer. For some reason these girls are the G1s that pop up the most at Savers (my local thrift store), and I just can't help but rescue Baby Moondancer, she's just too cute!!! If I could get a custom army with the same pony in different poses/breeds, it would have to be Baby Moondancer! Moondancer is pretty, but Baby Moondancer is soo much more adorable! I have one of my most recent rescue Baby Moondancers sitting on my bed, next to Chief and Baby Crumpet...Both of which I still can't believe I found at a thrift store!!:allecto:

...come to think of it, I have a pair of baity Moondancers I just haven't had the heart to customize....maybe I'll turn one into a grown up Baby Moondancer?

And Kat... I just don't know what to say, lol. Your Glories totally make me smile... all however-many of them. :p

I'll try to get an updated pic of my AJs tonight or tomorrow, even though my army is waaay small in comparison to some of these!.

I've been hoarding all the g4 AJ's I can get my hand's on... lol she might be my "other army" but for now it's my small quacker's army and my much larger orange pony army.

but CC, Kat and Beth you all take the cake so far :)
 
Happy to say that I don't have an "Army" of any one pony, or type. Just my G1s that I love. I generally don't even collect a SS and regular version of each pony.

I think my boyfriend would murder me if I tried to start an army...
