Oh I *love* So Softs when they are mint and fuzzily perfect, but sadly it doesn't take much before they will look way better deflocked.
Rowdy's custom SSs have stolen my heart, especially the babies! They're so adorable

I definitely love SoSoft ponies!
When I first saw them I thought "Hm, not that pretty ..." but I bought one from ebay. I wanted to now how they "feel".
What can I say? It was truly love at first touch :heart1:

So Softs are cute and definitely snuzzley, but some of them are over-flocked IMO making them less cute. And it is rare to find a SS that hasn't gotten all pilled and nappy. Then time for a de-flock! Working on a Lofty and North Star at the moment.
I do love rowdy's flocks- they are perfect, all fuzzy but not too fuzzy. She makes sure the flocking complements the color instead of the white dominating the pony.

I love so softs! I recently found a minty So Soft Lofty at a garage sale as a part of a huge lot I bought...

love them. they're so snuggly soft. i have a pretty near mint sundance, the only flaw is a couple yellow highlighter marks on her. everything else is prefect.

Yep, go check the customs forum! Rowdy has been posting incredible SS ponies for a couple weeks now, both G1 and G3. Amazing stuff.
I am also a SS lover. My pride and joy is a gorgeous mint Wind Whistler. She sits over my computer, along with my persona pony, Mimic, and an Argie Posey.

I've got some SS cuties I'd love to share with y'all! I'll have to see if I can dig into my boxes of ponies and find them. I've got a lovely SS Truly and SS Magic Star, as well as some others, but those 2 are in pretty condition, if my memory serves me correctly. I got them off eBay a few months ago but haven't had them out in a while.

Yes , I also when i saw SS i didnt like them cause i was used to the normal ponies and those seemed liked would ruin my collection because some of the tv show ponies you could only have them in ss version, but when i got some ponies i begun to really adore them and i was wondering if it would be nicer if all ponies were like SS...

I decided to start on So Softs as soon as I'm done with all my boys! My fav thus far is SS Magic Star! (And hopefully my first! )

I love a nice, minty So Soft! SS Posey was one of my earlier ponies I had when I was a kid. Right now I only have one SS- Paradise. She's not anywhere near mint, but she's a bit of a success story. She and SS Lickety-Split were in a lot of ponies from eBay, and they were FILTHY. I tried everything to clean them- scrubbing with soap, bleach, carpet cleaner... they got better, but still had dark stains. So I decided to deflock. I started with the OxyClean boil-bath I saw in the tutorial, but it didn't loosen the flocking, and Paradise came out practically sparkling! She still has one stubborn orange stain (I suspect it's from her hair) on her NDS wing, and she had some previous flocking loss on her front foot and on her wings, but she looked good enough that I let her stay fuzzy.
I'll almost definitely deflock her when I get an upgrade, but she's all I've got for now!
