Who is giving ponies for Christmas?

I'm sure many of you moms and dads are buying ponies as Christmas gifts for your children, but what about the rest of you? I don't have kids, but I bought the plush Pinkie Pie with ribbon hair (on sale for $10 at TRU) for my cousin's 3 year-old daughter, and I always pick an angel from the Salvation Army's Angel Tree, and I picked a 4 year-old girl. I found a set of MLP books at Waldenbooks that contained 3 books in a little carrier with Pinkie Pie on it. I love giving ponies to little girls. Makes me feel like I'm doing my part to inspire the next generation of collectors.

Anybody else giving ponies this year?
 
I have no kids, or kids in my family, really.. but I am thinking of going to pick out a few ponies to donate to some children this year. :)
 
I always give ponies to girls as presents - birthdays, christmas etc. They usually know that both my daughter and I love them, and that gets them even more interested. We usually have a big pony chat afterwards.
I gave my friends 4 year old a Starsong and a colouring book for her birthday in November and she was so excited she hid them in the bottom of her brothers stroller so no one else could play with them.
I will be giving all my neices ponies for christmas this year, I pick the ponies to suit their personalities. Or I get them birth month ponies for their birthdays.
 
Of course Kayleigh's getting ponies for Christmas, but my neice is also getting ponies from us. We're really making a collector out of her too! And I just gave my friend's two-year-old daughter a plush Pinkie Pie today for her birthday! Can't help spreading the pony love!! :xmastree::047:
 
Yep, my daughter Shelby will be getting a few this year!! None of my friends around here have little girls, so she's the only one I'll be getting them for. If I was doing a little better with my financial resources, I'd definately be buying some do donate. But right now, my main concern is just my two kids until I can get a job.
 
Mia will definitely be getting ponies for Christmas. And we have given and will give out more ponies as gifts to our pony friends. We also participated in the Children's Swap at the arena and gave our partner a pony from her wish list, giving a swap partner here ponies, and donated ponies to toy lifts locally. We always try and spread pony love. :)
 
we have a few stashed away for Robyn, + i'm wanting to see if some trade arrive by then(they'll be added to the pile from the traders
 
I'm thinking about getting one of my friends one, she is in love with my collection and collects everything 80s herself, she would love to have a G1 she told me :) So I am trying to find her one in her fav colours!
 
I don't really have anyone who would appreciate an MLP for christmas, but of course i've bought one for the Secret Santa swap :D
 
I've got some pony presents on there way out - but I cant say any more than that! :003:
 
I had my girls each pick a name of someone they'd like to buy for from The Giving Tree. I was looking at all of those names and I found a 5 year old that wanted My Little Ponies, so I took her too. I bought her the Scootaloo on the bike and Cheerilee set with the 2 outfits. I had such a good time picking things out for her, I plan to get another name and get her the new winter set. It makes me feel double good, buying for a needy child and possibly helping a new collector get started!

Yes me too! That's just great :) I love how many of us are spreading the pony love around!
 
There's a friend that my Boyfriend works with.. he's got a 4 year old girl and another baby on the way. They're really not doing so good financially right now. I'm giving quite a few of my G3 doubles to him for his little girl for Christmas.. probably over a dozen. I gave her some before, and he told me she keeps asking for more ponies to comb.
