I found a lot of different channels over the years via pony forums and I'm on the hunt for new things cause I hate mindless scrolling

YT
We found Todd in the Shadows this way via arena and he's a def fave now. -he covers hit pop songs
look mum no computers - old tech & music
techmoan -tech
vlogbrothers - idk what to classify them as anymore I've been semi watching since the beginning I'm old
twosetviolin- music comedy
glenandfriends -cooking
romasandmo - lithuanian cooking I watch a few channels in subtitles
De mi rancho a tu cocina - cooking
LGR - computer history
the history guy - history
antique nomad- antique dealer who specializes in glass which is something I'm clueless about
townsends - history/cooking
cereal at midnight - movie discussion, upcoming releases
horse plus humane society - horses
billispeaks - talking cat
mended light & cinema therapy - free therapy presented in digestible way and fun way for cinema

basically anyone im already following on yt who jumped platforms

Apparently I just like learning things the most but open to anything. Just post your faves doesn't have to be in line with my interests!
 
It is embarrassing how long it took me to understand that YT=YouTube and TT= TikTok! lol I don’t use either regularly, but E is big on gamers and gatcha club about anime. ‘Technoblade never dies’ R.I.P.

Sorry for the shorthand! I feel too old for tik tok half the time so my use of it is minimal compared to youtube

I dont use tiktok but I do love YouTube!!
My absolute hands down favorites are,

Drawfee (a drawing show, its so funny)
Secret Sleep Over Society (gaming vod channel by two of the drawfee members)
Drawfee Extra (drawing stream vods)
The Pink Popcast (tv and movie reactions, theyre really funny!)
Karolina Zebrowska (historical fashion memes)
Micarah Tewers (clothes making while being funny)
Jamie French (corny and nostalgic movie reviews)
Dominic Noble (Book reviews and book to adaptation reviews)
Poppen Atelier (doll customization)
I would be remiss if I didnt mention my besties youtube @CryptidPlays ( games and fun shorts)
 
I know nothing about whatever ticktok is, but if people want I could vomit forth the names of several hundred youtube channels from my video archive.
 
I follow too many youtubers, but if I had to pick one to recommend, Technology Connections would probably be the one simply because of his passion, dorky humor (/pos,) and ability to make something as mundane as a toaster fascinating to me, the only person I know who can't stomach toast (texture issues, the crumbs especially.) It's as though he could sell garlic bread to a vampire!

His fascination with toasters is amusing and it's true the new ones just don't compare!
 
I watch a lot of youtube, but here are a few current favorites: Dan and Phil, Brian David Gilbert, Chris Fleming, Dollightful, Imamu Room, Juno birch, Trixie and Katya (UNHhhh), ProZD, RetroGeek Crafts, Safiya, the try guys, and Studson Studio
 
I'd just like to mention that my video archive is pretty much all animation channels, but most are probably not appropriate for this forum due to language and violence.
 
I don’t use tiktok but I definitely watch YouTube a lot, except for one podcast channel (Welcome to Nightvale) the ones I watch all fit into 3 categories, art channels, doll channels or art doll channels haha

You asked and here they are! I can't comment about age appropriateness so be warned if you decide to Google any of this crap. Also I picked 82 of them because I suck at choosing stuff!

Just gonna say that these might not be the top ones but the best ones that I remember, because I haven't watched most of this stuff but downloaded it all, also I downloaded some of this stuff quite awhile back and don't remember it as well, that's why there isn't much stuff from higher numbers, because its been awhile since I looked at the higher numbers sense I'm going back through the entire archive and adding additional info.

(The numbers are part of my archive system, it mostly tells me how many there are and the order in which I downloaded them. In case anyone is interested there are currently 613 channels in the archive.)

Thanks for looking for some channels - heh, don't worry I have trouble picking stuff too.

Despite being a couple of years apart, I think you and I grew up with a lot of the same generational content. Love kitty0706, Don't Hug Me I'm Scared, FilmCow, OneyNG, Harry Partridge, and umami. Love a whole bunch of the fim youtubers you mentioned (Sherclop Ponies, hotdiggedydemon, Dawn Somewhere, etc).

Check out JaimeR if you haven't already, maayybeee an animator called Guldies (for artsy stuff, not humor).
 
Glad to see I'm not the only one that likes all this random stuff.

I have a [JaimeR] on the list that I didn't mention not sure if it's the same as the one you mentioned, and Guldies is on the list to be downloaded and sense you mentioned it I've moved it up in the queue.

I would also like to mention that some of the channels I mentioned and those on the list have videos missing that I've managed to find and replace, like Friendship is Witchcraft episodes from Sherclop Ponies and Mentally Advanced from Dawn Somewhere. Luckily there are channels that reupload this stuff but the ones I know of right now only do pony stuff, maybe some day I'll find some for other kinds of channels.

There is one thing about my archive that is kind of sad, and it's the discovery that while going back over stuff and discovering that some channels no longer exist, at least I was able to save them before they got deleted.
 
Umm… I do watch music videos on YouTube vevo for various artists and I like ’the hoof gp’.

I know the feeling, it's interesting. Happened to me with two pony musicians, where I uploaded some songs by them I had happened to download and save. That's a cool hobby, can be the difference between something with special meaning to someone being lost forever versus not being lost.
 
I feel it's important, I mean people spend hours working on these things and it's a shame for them to be deleted.
