Which pony is/was hardest for you to find?

Hey all -

I'm looking for stories of the grand search for THAT ONE PONY for your collection. The completer. The one that you yearned for that you found, or that's creating havoc in your collection now because it's so elusive.

You know which one it was for me for years? Flat-foot Peachy, of all things. I could find international variants and rarities, but that darn FF Peachy would NOT be found! Do you know where I finally got her? At a freakin' flea market for a buck. Just stumbled across her. I wasn't sure whether to be over the moon or seriously ticked off!

The hardest pony for me to find was Mimic because it was expensive. I was looking at EBAY auctions where she was being sold for $150+! So I had to wait and wait until I could find a Mimic that was in very good condition that wasn't that expensive. I ended up waiting for a year but it was worth it.
 
I had a really hard time finding Quackers - everytime she came up on Ebay I missed out. After quite a few months of this I finally picked her up for a very good price in wonderful condition - so maybe it was best I lost all those other auctions!
 
My ultimate grail pony is Unicorno AKA Italian Majesty/Twilight hybrid.
I have only seen one on e bay and it was almost $800.00 with shipping. Way too much for a broke Grad student's budget.

I'm obsessed. I must have him.

There are so many grails out there I would love to find someday.
South African Medley, Greek Wedding Firefly, Peruvian winged Blossom......I could go on and on :)
 
The orange shy pose argentina rockin beat pony. She isnt super pricy but i never have $$ when she shows up:vscared:
 
It's a few for me like Rosey Posey. You never see her up on ebay or anywhere! It's here, the 2 LS's, and the 2 pack of caribean delight & I forget the other one's name all of the time. I'll get them eventually.
 
I think for me it was High Flying Dream Beauty Wind Walker and when I got her at a steal I had to get her. But her aside it has been the lst of the Argentinian Sparkles Unicorn Flutterbye I still do not have her to this day and she is the biggest hole in my Sparkle collection. She should be on my shelf.
 
Not counting ponies I haven't gotten because of price, I would say that Dazzle Glow and Quackers have been the hardest to find for me. When I have the money, they are never for sale. When I do have the extra money to get them, I can't find them up for sale. lol
 
hardest to find

for me it was licensing show pinkie pie in a box. they are so hard to come by. i had searched and run ads, then when i was at the memphis pony fair, there she was!! i was shocked and like no! it can't be! i snatched her up and started running up and down screaming i got her! i was so happy! here i am with my girl. you can't see the licensing show in the pic, but it's there.

Mine would be Munchy. I have wanted her for a while and every time i see her she goes for too much or I just plain miss out on it.
 
It took me quite awhile to find a FF Blossom. She was the last one I needed to complete my FF's - Ironically Peachy and Minty were the first and easiest for me to find.
 
I spent the longest time trying to find TE Quackers. I must have bid on her ten times, and was always foiled. :violin:I had multiples of her baby, but no mother. Finally, I bought her at a meet. Yay!
 
mine is happy tails variant bobbi! i keep missing out on her! oh well i gues she will be mine some day ;) i can't complaine to much as i have had some great pony luck in the past!

I have to say mine was a mint Trickles, she was so hard to find without glitter loss or rusting to her symbols. When I finally got her, she was so much better than I could've ever expected. Now she's definately one of my faves.

I've also been looking for a mint Pinwheel, no luck yet.
