I've just been wondering, because I love the series and I'd love to own it.

I too would love to see the episodes again but as far as I know they were not released to DVD in the US. There might have been a few misc VHS tapes but none that I have heard of. Hopefully someone out there helps out with a good answer. :winkpony:

Maybe check out your local stores like Target or Kmart, as I found a My Little Pony DVD from G1 brand new in the store, alongside the new series, I think they are re-releasing them again too, but yes, You may have to buy a few dvds to have a whole set! :smilepony:

I have a few MLP Tales on VHS and DVD I love them, I purchased the VHS second hand about 8 years ago and the DVDs only 2 years ago :smilepony:

I'd love to know where to get them on DVD too! :cry2:
However, for the impatient, I have seen most episode of tales and all of the original series on YouTube.

It would be great to find some! I love the tales series.

To my knowledge the Tales series has not been released on DVD in region one yet. Not wholly or even partially. Such a shame. I wish they would as it was rather cute. :)

I have the complete series on dvd,
there are no region 1 my little pony tales on dvd unless you buy pirated ones from Ioffer
there is a UK dvd that has some episodes on it, and there is an italian release that has all the episodes on it, you will need a region free dvd player

Tales has been released partially in region 2 with 10 episodes on one disc: Bon Bon's Diary, Just For Kicks, Slumber Party, Too Sick to Notice, The Battle of the Bands, And the Winner Is..., Stand By Me, The Tea Party, The Masquerade, and Out of Luck.

and has been completely released in region 4 on DVD over 4 discs.

The UK release can be bought from amazon.co.uk (I would suppose amazon.com would also sell it) or ebay.co.uk/ebay.com.
As for the australian releases you might be able to find them on ebay.com.au for fairly cheap. I'm not sure about any other australian websites.

If you don't want to crack your dvd player, just stick VLC player on your computer, this allows you to play all DVD's no matter the regions coding. But you must use that programme to play the DVD and not any other piece of software.

I got one at a Star Trek convention (of all places) on DVD, but it's pretty bad quality and obviously taped from TV. I love Tales anyway, so I'm happy I have them in some form.
