So as the title says... he put $50 dollar-bucks in my bank and says if I think we have enough to live on (food) then I can use it on myself.... Then proceeds to imitate Tricky-Dicky (Futurama ref.) "Knock yourself ouuuuut!" LOL

Jokes aside.... I have $50 to spend.

My dilemma? Not which pony to spend it on .... but my moral compass is pointing in the direction of using it to buy my daughter her school gear for when she starts reception on the 31st. (australian here)

Between christmas and new year I scored a fair bit of public holiday pay rate from work and While I am unsure of my exact figure I will be getting this coming tues/wed. I feel that the amount I get from that will be somewhat enough to buy her uniforms or at least contrib. to it.

Should I spend this $50 on a pony today?

or bank it for my daughter. I'm torn.

Hmm, as a mum I certainly see your desire to see to your daughter's needs first, but sometimes we need to have a wee splurge on ourselves. Perhaps you could go on the halfsies and put some towards your daughter's school uniform and the rest towards a pony for yourself? Then when your money comes in mid week, you can use that towards kiddo as well!

It doesn't hurt to spoil yourself a bit! You deserve it. :D

Personally, I'd go with the school gear - that way, you take that weight off your mind and can enjoy a guilt-free pony splurge later on! But that's just my opinion. Do whatever feels right to you.

This is a perfect compromise.
