im gettign ready to sell my entire collection (except my argies ;)...
moving on in life

and i think the easiest way would be to have a pony garage sale of sorts :)

I live in San Diego california and so im asking for opinions of when to hold this pony garage sale

i would love to take care of it ASAP but im not sure how the hollidays would interfere with everyones availability

so tell me, would you make the trip? and when could you?

I voted for AFTER the holiday's, being as some people give money as a gift.... and then people might have more money, and or be willing to spend a little more that and they'll have a little bit more wiggle room after the holiday's.... I am also in that area, so i would love to know when you're having it... :)

good luck with picking a date.
 
Oh I'd totally come down when you have it. With the holidays though since I'm visiting family, it would probably be better after Jan. 8th/9th. Though I might be able to make it before in December.
 
Wouldn't it be easier to sell them on here? It's such a niche market, I'd think you'd be better off here than with a yard sale (dealing with the public at large can be a nightmare!)

nope definately easier this way...
no pics
no descriptions
no emails
no shipping
no paypal or ebay fees
all in one weekend


i dont plan on opening it up to "the public" ;)
 
I voted for other, I'm moving out to LA in April, so for purely selfish reasons I'd want it in April :p
 
OMG that RAINBOW IS AMAZING!! I need to find a CA rep to go to this sale for me if you are only going the yardsale route !!! arghhh - euro SLH G3's = you have a beach belle and carribean delight in there!?? let alone all the TAF babies, the jewel babies, the dutchies, germans, brazils, MB's ... I think I am drooling on my keyboard as I type... ok my wallet could easily be less by (gulp) a thousand or more with all that I see = just a wow collection... oh man, no hope of a sale thru the boards? Ok, well somebody post here from CA who can help broker = please?

sure you can't hold off until like next year's pony fair - is 2011 back in Vegas? (anyone know?)

I think I started collecting around then too I know Rel and I joined the boards at about the same. It makes me feel like an old collector lol :weird:

thats pretty rare i hear! ;)

ya ponies served their purpose well,
they gave me comfort and warm fuzzie nostalgia and kept my mind occupied durring a difficult time of grief.

im feeling much stronger now and am ready to take life by its horns! (unicorn horns of course ;)
