G4 What's your luck removing huge symbols from Soarin/Big Mac?

I have a Soarin and Big Mac coming in the mail...but they have symbols ALL over one side of their bodies and I'm like "No. You can't have a pic of yourself on your butt." Especially not Soarin, as I love grays and covering it drives me crazy. These are not proper symbols, but something I've heard called "screen prints." It is the more common brushable Big Mac, and as far as I know the only version of Soarin. There is a video of someone removing them cleanly- struggling at first with nail polish remover and then once it starts to come off she starts using her fingernails to scratch it off.

Has anyone ruined a pony trying to remove them? I really don't want to do that. Any advice? Can I use a coin instead of my nails (like scratching a lotto ticket), or does that sound too aggressive?

I don’t know if I have heard of anyone wiping off the extra picture. There’s a whole line of the ‘all about’ G4’s. I’m interested to see how it turns out. (I didn’t buy any specifically for the extra pictures.)

The fun thing about the “All About” ponies is that they have the all over imagery but their cutie marks on the opposite sides. So no need to remove the screen printing on them.

When I get home I will take pictures of both Soarin and Big Mac to show you.

Hmm Ive seen a video where someome tried remove it and the top picture of the print came off but the underlayer stayed on. It sounds pretty tricky. I would be careful scraping i accidentally left scratches on a pony once.

Like @Skybreeze mentioned the ponies look normal on one side with a regular cutie mark, you could just turn the ponies to display them on the normal side.

Big Mac came today. You know what? I like it. He's something between a TAF and a pony that fell asleep in a tattoo parlor. Here I thought only I could pull off a print of my own face on my butt. D

Since my Ponysona is gray I'm still going to have someone redo the eyes and hair on a wingless All About Soarin, but I'll keep a regular AA Soarin as well. Hated him at first, but now I'm glad they made him.
