What's with "original curl" obsession?

Where's Baby Stargaze??? I know she loves factory curls especially on Rosedust :wink:
Myself, I do like factory curls as long as I can work with them and if I can't I hand it over to my mom cause she knows how to make it nicer :D
 
I think factory curls looks lovely.
And if the ponies has it they are the way they were "supposed" to be if you get what I mean.

I think they do have a little higher value with the factory curls still intact. Like people said - it shows that the pony is very mint and haven't been played with a lot.

I'm a die hard collector so the more "original" the ponies are the more I like it :)

That's what I was going to say! It's quite hard to put into words without implying that others aren't serious collecters, but I wouldn't buy a pony on ebay with straightened hair if I could find a factory curl one
 
I have ponies with curled hair, but I'm not sure if they're original or not. I'm thinking they are because my SS Buttons and my Tropical Pina Colada have somewhat curly hair, and when I got my SS Cupcake, she had been re-curled, but now she's sort of a "Little Miss Droopy Curl" as I like to call her. However, Buttons and Pina Colada's curls have yet to droop.
