What's the Signature Picture/Quote You First Used?

I find sigatures and avatars interesting because I tend to remember people solely on the images associated with them, rather than their actual username.

So that means when someone who has used a certain signature picture for a long time changes theirs completely, I may not recognize them! Hah, this happened to me over the summer with Tiegrsi! She had Capt. Jack Sparrow as her sig for so long that when she changed it to her persona I thought she was a new poster! It took me a while to catch on!

I thought it'd be cool (since so many people change their signatures and avatars so frequently) to have a post where we post the signatures we first used when we signed up here, or maybe post a couple of the ones we regularly use, as an evolution thing.

I used the same avatar, but here's my old sig from when I first joined. I've only changed it once, when I got some G1 backcard pieces in a lot from Ebay.

Do most of you even remember the first signature/avatar you used when you signed up?

I sure hope this is in the right forum. I figured here would be the place since most everyone's signatures are pony art related.

This wasn't the first, I started using this one after my oldest was born. I don't really remember what I used before this.

It's a blinkie made by Seraphia:

Let's see, I think this was my first one. It was line art from a MLP coloring book converted into a jpg, and I colored it in:

What I did with it later:

My commission from Artisianrox, which I still love:

My own creation, with my custom DB who is now in my avatar:

Wow, I'm not sure I remember...I'm pretty sure it was this one, which I commisioned from Misty a million years ago. It's so cute! I wish I could fit all my old sigs into one.

At the old board, I had no avatar and signature. And since we moved, I have still the same avatar and signatur.

I think the avi I have now is the one I started with, it's my alter ego, ninja kitty.

For my sig I forget what I started with, I've had a couple of Cardinals ponymaker sigs and now I have Greek Windy done by me.

This is a cool thread! :D

Here's my first sig:

frodogaladrielsml.jpg

It's a drawing a did several years back (when LoTR, FoTR was in theatres) of Frodo and Galadriel - it was from a picture in the newspaper. :p It was really the first drawings I did of a person that I thought was considered 'good', and then I could say I could draw pple, lol, and not just horses. :p If you're interested in seeing it larger (along w/ several other LoTR drawings), feel free to browse the art section of my (outdated) website: http://www.angelfire.com/ky/AppleJacksMLPPage/

I haven't had many other sigs. Actually, I think the first time I changed my sig was last year, lol. I know I had one of CardinalMelody's Christmas sigs this past Christmas, and then I got this one from her. :)

Great post, Claire! :D

Edit: Whoops! Forgot the avatar bit. :p This was the first I ever had, heh, and I think I just put it up last year. I did have a Christmas one that BittieBaby did for me for a while, though. :)

I'm not sure which was first, but I've definitely being using Bright Eyes since I discovered the online pony world. :)I think Sourdough Stomper on the Arena made the pillow buddy, but I'm afraid my memory's not so good where the 2nd is concerned.
