I haven't seen any new ponies in my area in ages. I hope maybe he shows up here sometime.

I'm completely unable to lose weight. I think I've just finally reached the combination of age, thyroid dysfunction, and post menopausal state that is preventing weight loss. I gained weight just after my shoulder injury in August. However, I've been back on my regular diet and exercise since November. Exercise has increased now, and lack of available food made my diet stricter. Yet I'm gaining! I can't afford a new wardrobe! :cry::cry:
This needs to stop!

Stress can make you gain weight. Your body feels your unease and assumes bad times have arrived, like a famine or such and it starts packing on fat so you'll have a reserve. Women's bodies are cruel creatures. :D

I lost 20 lbs in one day though. I bought a new scale. Mine has been weighing an extra 20 lbs on everything. I thought I'd gained so much when I hadn't gained any at all. :p

I don't own any scales. I wish I could say it was just miscalibration. My gut looks just like my dad's. :(

You know what the same thing is happening to me too. I was like 115. Then all of the sudden I got those dizzy spells remember that? Well, I had to take medication for several months to stop that and I gained like 15 pounds. Now I am off of the medication, but I am on a colon medication now for two conditions I have. I don't eat all that much but, I am thinking that medication is affecting my weight. Now most of my clothes still fit me. Some of my jeans are not though and my shorts are not. So, I am living in leggings which for me with pain and stuff is better anyway. I have managed to lose two pounds. So, I am trying, but I admit that my love affair with Dots certainly did not help me. ROFLOL I also think the menopause stuff is an issue for sure.

My doctor agreed. Menopause, age, and thyroid disease. So I can try a drastic diet and/or exercise at least double my norm. I need to get 40lbs off! He recommended a gym membership, but I just can't afford it. I'm going to try to find a used exercise bike.

I know once I had the hysterectomy I was wrecked. I've gained 40 (which I WISH was a scale mistake, but it isn't). All the sudden I gained a ton. I lost some finally quitting Dr Pepper, but I have a long way to go. But my knees are screwed up from a long ago injury, so I can't run like I used to. I'll figure it out.

Or stay fat. I could just do that too. Sure is easier! :D

This is the motto of my adopted sis. She decided to stay fat because well, she was just flat tired of it all. ROFLOL Now she has embraced herself. My family members were rolly polly as older women. It's in the genes I guess. I couldn't get my arms around my Czech grandma but she sure was cuddly.

That is so cute!!!

So, R2 went to the TMNT meet yesterday without me because, I decided to fall and injure myself badly. He didn't find any of the NT's on my wanted list. Boooo hissssss So, I took Gnaw and stuck him on top of OP's head in retaliation. Now Gnaw is being guarded by a police car transformer of some kind. I am going to break him out of that jail and stick him in R2's sock drawer and let him munch on the socks.:p

XD

Today my graceful self slipped on my mother sleep pants fell over a baby gate which was blocking our dogs from getting into the laundry room. I then fell forward hit my head on the wall, fell on my side and hit my back on the tub and scratch my finger on a nail that is in the wall.

:madpony:ONLY I COULD DO THIS....:madpony::rolleyespony:

Holy....:eek:

This is about where I'm at. I really only need to lose enough so that my clothes fit.

You know what is interesting too is that I have lost weight many times in my life. The one thing that has consistently worked for me was grain free, no sugar and only water for beverage. I avoid all processed foods, eat lots of veggies and meat. When I add back my grain it is only oat and none of the others. My problem is allergies too. After three months I add back one cup of blueberries or a pear and no other fruits. I never needed to work out either. I also gave up eating out. Most people don't want to do this and I don't blame them. The only issue is, if I am on medication of any kind this process won't work well. Medication just really messes up my body. Most of the time I don't have to take a lot of medication. However, with this new illness I have its messing up the way my organs work and now I am having to take things for my digestive system. blaaa

I do declare eventually I will give up my Dots again!!

I've never had trouble losing weight before. Maybe our utter brokeness will get me on the starvation diet.

Otherwise. You only live once. I enjoy the taste of some foods. I'd rather be a little fat and have a little enjoyment than inflict a diet that will depress me on myself. Or my daughter for that matter.

I seem to loose weight a bit as I live off of cream of wheat. its got a lot of fiber and iron in it. this is not every meal but my stomach get sensitive sometime and it about the only thing it can handle. I lost 15 pounds eating it for 2 month and that was only eating it for one mean and drinking water and making better snack and other meal choices.
As picky as I am with food its amazing I will eat this. In the South most people will eat Grits I HATE GRITS AND CORNBREAD.

Though to keep some of my grandmother memories alive I can make her corn bread and biscuits I will eat the biscuits but not the corn bread.

Though Fact: if you are having a stomach act you can do two thing to feel better on eat a spoonful of corn meal it absorbs the acid and will make you feel so much better. Or you can drink two spoon full of pickle juice with a touch of salt this counters the acid in the stomach and you feel much better pretty quickly.

Anyone know other place that sale target gift cards I need to order something but I don't live near a target and my mom wont order it for me. I have been looking and looking for a place that sale gift card to get one. I got the money just no way to get a card. This suck majorly....

You don't have to get a Target gift card to use online at Target, they also accept visa gift cards. You can get those at the grocery store and pharmacies in your area. Here are the details confirming that. R2 does this all of the time. He buys Visa Gift cards and then purchases things online. Mostly it is something he does for Christmas since I am in and out of our paypal account all of the time. This is the only way he can surprise me lol.

See I am the opposite. The weight issues make me more depressed and I have found that the doctors also get on my case about it. I would never inflict any diet on a child though. Childhood is about learning how to eat correctly and shouldn't be about dieting. The only live once is a relief for me. Living for me has been quite difficult and my relationship with food has gone with that. So, I try not to place happiness with food as I learned very early in life I had to get a food divorce due to severe food allergies. ROFLOL So, all my friends go out to eat and find all this joy in that. I find no joy in that. They bring me a toy back. tee hee I have no idea what it is like to sit and enjoy food with people. I have not been able to do that for so many years.

My problem is I never had to lose weight before. We're pretty small people, so gaining weight is like a big deal to me. People tell me I look fine, but of course they say that, they're being nice! I know I've gained it, and I need to lose it, but I work hard every day and nothing is shifting. What do I need to do? 500 sit ups? Like that's gonna happen.

:lolpony::tongue:

Let's all just be fat together. I'll make us some snacks.

Yea I come from tiny people too. My dad is 5.5 my mother was 5.3 and I am 5.0. Then there is R2 6.2...baaaaaaaaaaa 500 sit ups yea right. I wouldn't make it through one before everything would go into a crick and my head wouldn't turn, my hips wouldn't rotate at the joint, my knees with not move, my thighs would go numb, my ankles and toes would start to burn and my bum would feel like a hot potato. I had to get a walker with a seat at my age good grief. So, to celebrate that I look like Granny smith now. I plan to put MLP stickers all over my walker. The only problem will be when R2 needs to use it and its full of ponies. Perhaps I need a few Marvel/Transformers/Star Wars stickers too. I am ready for my first walker race I can sit on the seat and R2 can run and push me to win a million dollas. Oh that reminds me I need streamers and some cans and bells too

Just got in a bit a go from a SSI issue doctor app. I had to go see a doctor over a hour and a half away to get things checked out. He made me do some stands and movements stuff like that. The crunching of my knees made him cringe but I told him my knee cap are deformed and not where they should be. He seem nice enough so I hope his report show in my favor about my disability. He did say they may send me to see another doctor and a Mental heath doctor too so to be prepared for that. I told him I would.

On a rare good note I went to my normal doctor in January and weight in at 338LB I know I am way too heavy. But today I went in and was check my this doctor and I weight in at 312LB I am very surprise at this amount lost in only a few months.
Also funny but true the Automatic blood pressure cuffs don't work on me you have to use the old fashion kind. I told the nurse this the first time it mess up she tried it 2 more time and well it messed up so the doctor had to take it. I did try to tell her.

Yay on the surprise weight loss. That is always fun.

I got my second set of rolling legs in the mail today. Yuki loves sitting on the seat and riding along. Now where to put those awesome stickers. I also want a luggage tag for it. I saw this fake Leather Alice in wonderland one on ebay, but I did'nt buy it yet. It was cute..a white color. I may ask a friend to go into Hot Topic and see if they have any.

We sticker-fied mom's walker with ponies and puppies. Then we hung hot pink fuzzy dice off the front. She had a bike bell on it, but it broke. :D
