What would the Trading Post actually look like?

Here's a fun thought

Imagine the My Little Pony Trading Post is a real place--what does it look like? Would it be a castle since we've been around so long? Where does everyone do their trading? And where is the snack bar??

And where do those silly mods hang out?

It's a life-sized Dream Castle, duh. Trading takes place in the courtyard, the snack bar is just off the Jacuzzi room, and the mods hang out in the conservatory (unless they're in the Jacuzzi, of course).

I think it'd be a nice colorful expo style building with lots of pony posters, cardboard cut-outs of all gens and vendor stands, there'd be a restaurant or cafe' where we can get together and chat with our friends and show off our goodies with a nice drink in hand and it would look like an MLP cartoon shop or something. where would the mods hang out? why they'd be hanging out with us of course! you can't trade and enjoy a nice frosty lemonade with your friends if your locked high in the castle tower. then we'd have to mount a rescue attempt

Wherever it is.. Pet better be allowed... though I'm not sure how much @MustBeJewel s animals would take to all the strange pony people running around. (Mostly speaking of Marz of course)

And there would be different areas within this huge expo building. Castle, Paradise Estate, Stable, etc (think, playsets through the years), with all the various MLP vehicles (i hope certainly that G2 wedding carriage! ) for getting from one place to another. In these places would be the art, the variants, the trading and selling, etc! When does the construction start? :-D

I imagine it as a castle with a huuuge courtyard. Each gen has it's own wing and all the ponies are on display. The courtyard has lots of booths and stalls were people can buy and trade their ponies. There are special rooms in the castle where pony restorers or artists can get together and work on their crafts. Maybe there's a cafe too so we can get snacks

Haha, I'm loving everyone's suggestions so far!

...Though now I keep imagining everyone walking around as their avatars (or signatures). Like, Jewel, CJ and Angel_Foil as their ponysonas, Mimm as a squirrel, Skeen as Janeway, Marble Dragon as a, well, dragon, me as a... Anubis-looking thing with giant wings and huge arms... Imagine this coming to your booth.

Here I was thinking of a series of brightly coloured circus tents, with little booths outside in the walkways giving away free noms. There'd be corrals with adorable animals for us to cuddle, special tents for displays, some for swapping.

Then there would be the Midway, with games, rides and more sinister offerings like The Freakshow and the juggling of flaming figs and such.

Jewel could be Ringmaster!
