It seems that in one week you can go from nearly 80 degrees hot weather to snow flurries. I have gone from tank tops and shorts to polar fleece. What tha?

Anyone else bracing for severe freezing weather? I have a someone flying into Houston tomorrow morning. I sure hope that the weather doesn't affect the flight and safety. This is crazy.

It was fifty something in Alabama a few days ago. We had snow last night. Granted our area did not get much but it's not the snow it's the ice you have to worry about. It suppost to be in the low 20's tonight and been like 27 degrees all day.

Our pourch is a bit of a ice rink. As its in the shade so yeah more ice. It's suppost to go back up into the 50's later this week.
Mother Nature does not know if she having a hot flash or a cold sweet down here I think.
As my dad says" stop messing with the thermostat before you break it". LOL

I'm used to it, it seem like it is always like this in Texas you never really know what is going on with the weather here, because it is always changing.

It got to eight degrees here last night, and that's without the wind chill. The wind was awful. Our pipes have broken 3 times now. I'm about at my wit's end.

I feel worst for all our critters outside. Their housing needs heaters!

Dallas got some snow on Friday, and it was below freezing all weekend. Today the high is 75 F. I don't understand this bipolar weather!

(However, I will say that it's nice that you can read the forecast for next week and it's actually correct. In Missouri, anything further away than the next day on the weather prediction would likely be wrong.)

Go stick em in Hank's room. :p

I can't torture him today. Tis the anniversary of the dark day he emerged from mah womb. Tomorrow though, it's back to being mean to him.

Every single year, we only get snow once or twice. Like once a decade we get a lot of snow in a week.

This year, IT'S BEEN SNOWING EVERY SINGLE WEEK SINCE BEGINNING OF DECEMBER.

This has never happened before here and it's nearing a month and a half.

Some weeks we have just light flurries then no snow for some days but it has snowed enough to cancel schools this past week and the first week we started getting snow in December.

I dont know about the weather. Most blame it on climate change but I think its bologna. The weather always has extremes. Also where I live I think I should be used to it by now but I always feel cold. I used to live the desert of California with +30 weather. Then I went to -30c temperature. I'm just surviving. Furthermore I get nose bleeds if the weather is hotter in summer. sigh I can not win.

Yea it froze everything. Lost a lot of plants. Then it went into the upper 70's which lead to more plants trying to bloom yet again. My grass is dead. It looks like that is all the cold weather we will have for winter this year. My in laws had frozen pipes up in Montana but that is to be expected up there. They managed to thaw them before they burst.
