G4 What Set/Issue Are These From?

As part of cataloguing my collection, I note down the sets/issues my ponies/figures came in. It takes a lot of tracking down of sets but I am stumped with these two.

I can’t figure out which set this Pinkie Pie is from as she’s just a plain ol’ Pinkie Pie. StrawberryReef and My Little Pony Merch list her as being in about four different sets. I don’t know if there’s a way to tell exactly which she is from? As far as I know the code on the hoof is the manufacturing date. If there is no way to tell exactly I shall just write down the different sets. Can the hair plug pattern somehow help ID?

The next pony is Baby Flurry Heart. She’s an Egmont magazine figure and I can’t find which issue she is from. I’ve only seen a French version of the magazine advertising her but I can’t find out which issue she is from in the UK version which is what I’m hoping to find

That is very similar to the Flurry Heart that came with Shining Armor and Princess Cadence in the Family Moments or Best Gift Ever set (but Best Gift Ever is probably see through). Here is where I remember seeing something like that (turn down your volume):
I guess the Egmont figure is more detailed than the main release...

As for Pinkie, some G4's are narrow headed (which I think are earlier), and some have wider set eyes. Your Pinkie seems like the narrow version, but if you compare it to all your other Pinkies you might be able to know for sure. Also, Strawberry Reef does point out which side the symbol is on for diff releases. If there is no diff, then it was just the exact same pony, but I always assume the narrow headed ones should be placed as early as possible.

Hope that helps!

Pinkamina Diane Pie. *slow head shake*

I’ve been advidly collecting Pinkie since the beginning of G4 and for some reason I keep finding tiny variations I got to have.

Hoof markings (the black code) relates to the factory line and production dates that Hasbro uses for manufacturing purposes.

This Pinkie was maufactured on March 7, 2011 - thus putting her as either the Friendship Express (1st run) or RC Car Pinkie Pie. ;)

Jewel has already helped with your Flurryheart query. ;)

I notice that the wider gap ones seem to be the ponies with the Cutie Mark Magic ponies. Thanks!
Pinkie Pie, it's extremely hard to say, as the exact same pony may have been used in multiple sets.

As for Flurry Heart:

This seems to be the French version I come across a lot when finding. Maybe the UK one was the they’re the same just translated? Thank you! I’ll write down in my collection catalogue about the French release. Who knows, maybe my one’s previous owner was French!

That narrows it down a lot more than I was able to. I could never figure out those codes on the hooves. Thank you so much! Trying to figure sets out for the plain ol’ Pinkie’s boggles my mind a lot
