What Have I learned Today Game

I'll go first

Today I learn Alabama has a Small Amish community. I am rather interested in this.

Meeting a Amish family is on what I want to do list. Next to meeting a real nun and going to a catholic mass.

Also sad fact I learned that Cloud a stallion from some of my favorite wild horse Documentaries Pass away in 2016.
That tugs a really big cord with me.

What I learned this year-

My motto for 2017 is if you FALL DOWN and can't get back up or you can't walk afterwards without extreme pain, go to the doctor IMMEDIATELY.

I got a fracture in my foot that's taking half a year to heal. While I was holding a icepack on it people around me were joking about having to document the incident in case say... My foot had to be amputeed.

I was like how in the heck WHY would something like that happen?

My sis in law JUST traveled to Colorado because her sister FELL, couldn't get back up but decided to sleep it off.

She woke up next morning with a leg completely black. She got a blood clot and had to get emergency surgery to AMPUTEE HER LEG to stop the clot from reaching her heart, but it also reached her other leg and she had to get BOTH legs amputeed

So.... Yeah if you fall and can't get up or it hurts too much to move, GET TO THE DOCTOR A.S.A.P.

My daughter has a therapist in hopes that, with her help, my daughter won't be traumatized by it. She already knows what's coming since I've always been open with her questions. We've been talking about it for a few years. (*fingers crossed*)

Today I learn that my insurance and Walmart are annoying as heck when trying to refill vital meds I need.

Today I learned that my roof is getting replaced on Thursday, also, apparently we are going to the beach tomorrow.

I learned that my garage roof had no plywood over the beams. When all the shingles came off you could look straight up through the roof! Kinda creepy. Kinda cool. I've learned a couple Russian curse words, too.
