What generation is your favorite for customs?

i saw some done based on matching ponies (applejack) and they look amazing! I just feel like seaponies are limited when it comes to customising, then again, I am not that brain creative to think outside the box with them

We don’t collect the sea ponies. I have seen some customs that made me wish I did!
 
I totally get what you all are saying when it comes to HQG1C's feeling different. The plastic has a softer quality, a different subsurface scattering of light in the vinyl. The newer nylon hair is shinier and drapes heavier when unwashed (I haven't tried washing it yet). But I think they're awesome for customizing because honestly, a custom is usually going to come out feeling different from a vintage G1 anyway. I'm just glad to have a continuing source for those original poses even if they've lost a bit of detail depth from mold-copying.

I love sea ponies, and have been wanting to customize one for a long time, so I'm hoping more non-glittery Sea blanks will come up for sale through HQG1C and if not, I have a Wavedancer in my bait box whose head got half chewed off her neck and I will give her a new life. :)

I think custom sea ponys would be cute, but personally I don’t collect the g1 sea ponys I like my sea ponys to look more mermaid :) like g3.5 and g4 did

I think theyre cool!! Altho i can never seem to bring myself to make customs from actual ponies and not blanks. Theres nothing wrong with it, I just cant do it! :rofl: My anxiety gets meee. Mine were from blank g3 ponies back before they made HQG1C ponies. Eventually I wanna make one! I have a sparkle little boy g1 blank i have plans for but gatta eventually get hair! I have soooooo many plans for g2 blanks but im like dont get your hopes up strawberry it might not happen bUT i wANT:rofl::twohearts::twohearts: Ive got christmas plans, sweetberry plans, ivy plans, halloween plans, valENTINE PLANS, ALL THE PLANS!!

Ill try to get them out of storage sometime soon to show pics! .. well.. of the strawberry and lavender one....you dont wanna see the brown one lol i gatta strip the paint and start over bc idk why for some reason it bubbled up and peeled.
