What do you think Gen 5 Will Be Like?

Lets also hope Stingebro quits skimping on good materials soon. (although i wont hold my breath)
 
As much as I like the G4 designs I wish they'd go back to a more equine design as well. However consodering the trend they'll probably be smaller... And top-heavy.

Oh gawd I do despise the constant re-release of the same pony over and over again... I thought it was quite cute when I was younger and had 2 different Fireflys... but after living through Pinkie Pie being re-released over and over and over again, I don't find it as charming as I once did. I will be more than happy if they do away with that trend.
 
The way they're going with the blind bag ponies and chibi EqG, we'll be lucky if we can even see the durned things come the next generation.

I just... I dunno, I just don't trust Hasbro with My Little Pony anymore. It's like they've totally forgotten what made MLP such a force to begin with. Where are my non-Main Six brushables, Hasbro?! And no, the pithy little selection of fan favorites only count for so much.
 
Generation 5, well lets see. First we will probably have some sort of cartoon/show. Since we have done the whole friendship thing, I figure this next show will be all about evil and zombies. The ponies will have a horror theme and the cartoon will be dark. Every pony for himself with magic, lots of purple and gray. Weirdo music and ponies running around in a daze oozing some sort of green zombie like goo. There will be alternate universes where characters from the show that are mane and , yes, there will be six. The mane six will be able to travel to and from the zombie dark world into the shimmering star world where there is no sun but more color. The ponies from the other world that is super dark will be very tall and thin. The ponies from the mane six world will be short and fat with nauseating smiles on their faces. The eyes on the ponies from the darker world will be smaller and they will have to wear steam punk goggles. The ponies from the shimmering world will have larger eyes and shimmering very long manes and tails. They will have pets. Owl, Spider, Bat, Raven, jelly fish, and black cat...All pets will have clock like moving parts in their eyes. They will have 6 super powers. Invisibility, holding any object still in any place, stopping time, cloaking, gas cloud crowd control, super speed, and shape shifting to suit the needs of the particular moment or situation. The whole theme will be to turn the worlds into one world by finding the queens that have been captured in both worlds by an evil dragon pony. First job is to get the dragon pony back to a dragon and a pony instead of them mixed together due to a curse from a wicked frog. It will take them 10 years to accomplish this goal. The toys will be packaged the same for the first 2 years with needless accessories. The hooves will not match the body, the heads will break easily and they will eventually have brown spots from a vinyl reaction that takes place from the wrong paints used with plastic. By year ten they will be a little puddle of goo which the toy company will say was supposed to happen as it was their fate if they couldn't fix the worlds and free the queens. There will be castle play sets, boys, babies and girl ponies, dragon evil pony, dark world queen pony, shimmering world queen pony and 10 years worth of releases of the mane six with their pets. That just about covers it. Hope you enjoy collecting them. I heard they will display very well under black lights and some sets will come with ooze. Steam punk backgrounds will adorn the worlds. That was absolutely hilarious. Are they actually doing a G5? I almost wish they wouldn't. To echo the above sentiments, if they do, I wish they'd resemble the G1s or even the G3s much more than the aesthetic they have right now.

But yeah, as long as they don't have gigantic bobble heads and itty-bitty bodies and 10,000 clones per character (some sort of G4 mix with G3.5) I'll be happy :p

I really hope when Gen 5 does happen that there's a lot of new stuff but still a nod to the retro ponies. I don't mind the small ponies and chibi like bodies ( though i very much prefer the look of G1 and G3) I just really want more variation and fun things going on because my main problem with G4is how predictable it is
