Well, it finally happened!

I have always been able to remember which ponies I did not have. As my collection has grown I've gotten down to needing about 5o-something to complete the US collection. I figured there would eventually come a day when I wouldn't just remember anymore and that day has come I bought a Sea Mist last week and was so excited thinking, YAY this completes my sea ponies, I can't wait for her to arrive

So, today I go to update my wishlist cause I was needing to do that anyway and I notice Sea Breeze is on there, not Sea Mist I think, gheez I must've made a mistake, I know I needed the one with the red hair, Sea Mist. So I get up and venture to the pony room and there she is , just looking at me, like really, you forgot about me! And sure enough there is no Sea Breeze

So Sea Mist II arrived today, not to the sounds of trumpets but to the disappointed sigh of someone who thought she'd completed her sea pony set I will find her another home though and continue my search for Sea Breeze, I had just gotten so excited and then crush! Guess my head has finally reached it's capacity for pony knowledge!

Hehe! I can't blame you - I barely have any and I forget their names and stuff all the time. Course, I'm just generally bad with names xD But, don't beat yourself up! There's a LOT of similar names and stuff out there! I don't know how anyone could remember them all!

Sadly I have a bizarre memory, so I can remember complex mathematical equations, entire chunks of text I read 20 years ago but not recall the name of someone introduced to me the day before. It seems I just cannot for whatever reason know who and what I have as far as Ponies in my collection goes.

It would probably help if I were to be able to display them so I would see them on a regular basis. If I saw those sweet little faces I would (hopefully) perhaps be able to know more of an inventory. I do have an Excel sheet on the collection, but y'know.... I am really bad at updating. So in the end, who knows? I just buy what I can and doubles are delightful.

On a weird note, I could tell you the names of all 245 of the Ponies I had stolen. Because i can remember where everyone of them came from and I got to handle them regularly. And when I think of who I lost, man. I'll never afford to replace them all. Ah well. Such is life!

I was moving and some lovely crook swiped several big storage tubs from my porch. It wasn't until later I even realized they were gone. They were all of my childhood Ponies. It's a bummer, but such is life I suppose! I do like to think maybe they ended up with a child (or children) that really needed them.

I know the feeling. You see some pony on sale at you are like yay I don't have that must get it! Then you make all the arrangements and realize, wait I got that one! Then all the excitements just blows out of the window and left you empty like boo so much time and money and I already got her..

I guess at some point our memory capacity is too full of ponies that we make mistakes..
Allthough that is funny that I can't remember simple math or anything school related stuff but when it is about ponies I usually instantly remember the names etc.. I should have studied ponies at school Master's degree of Ponylogia LOL

I have done that before. I keep saying I am going to make a picture book reference with all my ponies, but goodness mercy the time it will take. I am not sure I will ever get to it.

That is so me I could remember things and coversations I had eons ago. Though I might I never can remember ALL of my grocery shopping list. There is always 1 item missing UGH. I think Ive had my share of pony "blonde" moments. ><:
