short of reheating it (and killing it more!!) to try to rewarp it to what it was sorta it's just garbage now...and now i'm going to start crying again...

so yes i'm an idiot for thinking it could go in the oven. don't be an idiot like me *goes off to cry now*

Omg how did you do that... just to think i dumped two dream castles a year ago and just kept all the accessories x-x - had no space for them so they had to go. If i was here i would have offered them but alas i was not. =[

You put it on the oven?
wow. It must have melted very fast.
Someone here must have a castle for sale or trade

Unfortunately hun, Dream Castle's plastic isn't made out of the same material as ponies, so naturally it would melt...I'm so sorry for your misfortune. I'm sure you can find somebody else who has a Dream Castle, just keep your eyes open! They're always replaceable!

I'm sorry to say this.. but... Dream Castle is plastic.. Of course it's going to melt.

*hugs*
Restoring is a learning curve. We all try a new technique on a pony, or accesory at one point and find out the hard way that it won't work. (Thankfully this was the pink castle, and not the rare lavender castle. :) )

I'll cross my fingers for you, hopefully you can find another castle to restore.

Awe, the poor thing. On a liter note...maybe you can turn it into a piece of art, get some CB ponies an do the same to them, piece them together an tada ART - I'm being serous so don't try an read anything into it, it could work. :first:

thanks all. luckily i'm not as emo over it now (after shoveling my driveway cause the snowblower wouldn't start >>) but i still am upset

-to getting a replacement: i can't afford it! i'm lucky i got this one for free, just for shipping. and i really only need the one part, not another whole one
-to how it melted: i used the sculpy instructed time and temperature so it's not like i expected it to do this
-to it being different plastic: well i knew that much. i just didn't expect it to do this
-to turning it into art: well it did remind me of a warped alice in wonderland thing when i first saw it (after i yelled a few explicitives ^^; ) so idk...it's a good suggestion though

so yeah...i'll be putting off "Pimp My Castle" (as my brother put it ^^;; ) for a while now...maybe forever *sighs* anyone got just this part of the castle they wanny throw away?
:reaper: Kat :reeaper:

Wow, that really sucks. I'm sorry. Yes, trying to fix things sometimes backfires on the best of us!

Hey, I have to say it looks really cool all melted and warped like that. Sorry. I know I wouldn't feel that way if it were mine.

Again sorry about your castle *hug* I'm sure you can still use the other half ^^;

If i had an extra one i would send it your way but i have never come across an extra in all my years of collecting.

I do think it would look cool painted gray, it could look like something from that artist who did the never ending stairs thing. I cant remember his name.

You may have also just prevented someone else from doing the same thing.

you mean M.C. Eshire?

and yeah. that's why i posted this. encase anyone else was as stupid as me T.T

You're not stupid, you just tried something new.

I know they are expensive to ship. but keep your eyes open. Yard sales, and thrift shops would only charge a few dollars for one. They are a very common playset I've passed up many damaged ones second hand. :) Being patient and keeping your eyes peeled will pay off I'm sure.

good advice except that there are no thrift stores around here. and it's not yard sale season. and even when it is i really doubt 'll find anything; no one has anything around here. but i'll try...

It's winter here too. No yard sales until late April. *sighs*

Yeah that is the artist guy, i think it would look so cool.

When I de-eyeballed my last batch of BBE ponies, I filled their sockets with white sculpy and then I dunked them in scalding water for a few seconds. Worked like a charm! This wouldn't work on super big pieces, I imagine, but for little repairs, maybe! :3 Anything to spare you more heartache, poor dear <3
