Variation in MO Starhoppers?

I was about to add descriptions of my two MO Starhoppers, when it came to my attention that they are actually remarkably different ^.^

While one has a sort of 'frosted' finish in a sensitive pale green (not faded)
the other is darker, more slimy green ^^ w/ the usual finish of a Glittery Pony..
Has anyone experienced this before?

huh interesting. My mail order Napper is "slimy", and store bought one is "frosted". But seeing as those are both MO, that's puzzling. I like the slimy one

yes they did make both versions. I had one that had the lighter body with a darker head. I traded a girl in sweden i think it was who had one with a light head and a dark body. so now i have a complete light version instead on 1/2 & 1/2 :lol:

I always thought she looked so odd compared to my other sparkle ponies but then again, she is my only MO one so I just thought that is how they looked.
