Come unicorns! Play time!

Pencil crayon and pen :) No picture references, just winged it. I went for a paint/red-tailed hawk look for the pegasus and an ethereal appearance for the unicorns. I always felt that unicorns would look kind of... alien/mysterious, as if they aren't really there. Part of their mystery :winkpony: I also love the "Last Unicorn" which really inspired their look as well.

Hope you like it!

Very nicely done! I really admire your line composition for the traditional pencil methods. Soft balanced texturing with dynamic expression~

This is really nice! I love the way you draw the unicorns from different views so that it breaks it up. Again, so detailed to the point of :shockpony: Great job!

This piece is also very cool! :smilepony: You have drawn the ponies from an unusual direction :p I hate to draw ponies from the front. I never get them look realistic :/ :p but yours looks fantastic!

Thank you so much for the compliment! *squee!*

I totally agree, I have NO idea why I chose to draw them that way. I suppose I wanted to challenge myself because I normally draw them from the side, almost always facing the same direction. I just felt the need to experiment.

I am so glad you think it turned out well :smilepony:
