Ponycon 2008 Mascot Merchandise Art Contest!
Firstly, a huge thanks and congratulations to Baggins Lover for giving us our wonderful and very festive mascot, Party Popper!
Description:Party Popper Parade is the pony that everyone wants at their birthday celebrations, its so fun when she is around! Her symbols are 5 party poppers, to represent 5 years of Ponycon (with an unpopped one on her cheek ready for next year ) each popper has 5 streamers bursting from it, making 25, to represent the 25th anniversary of My Little Pony, she really is the ultimate party pony!
What I'm looking for now is how you guys can represent her! What I would like you to do is draw Party Popper however you see fit. The winner will then see their design featured on merchandise which will be sold to raise funds for the convention! Not only that, but winner of the design chosen will receive a 10 pound credit at the merchandise store!! Plus it's free to enter ^_^ What could be better?!
I must add that due to the fact that the artwork will be featured on merchandise, the artwork must be digital. Unfortunately, handdrawn artwork does not transfer very well.
So get drawing ^_^ All designs will feature on the website, and the winners will see their designs on the merchandise. Email entries can be sent to the following address: sunlightmlp@yahoo.com. If you wish to mail yours, please PM me for further details.
The contest will run until the 30th of June, at which time a winner will be chosen by the committee.
