UK meet - London, August 20th

Attention all UK ponies!

The annual UK pony picnic is on 20th August, in Green Park (London), starting mid day.
Bring a picnic and your trades, and come and talk about ponies :)

It's an informal outdoor event, so not a booked hall or anything. Bring something to sit on, and an umbrella, may be a good idea!

Hurray!!! Well I got my train ticket ages ago. Lets just hope the rain gods take the weekend off :)

We always meet in the same place, and you can pretty much guarantee that if there's a group of adults wearing pony t-shirts with plastic horses spread out like a picnic, it's probably us :)

we tend to meet at a place near the main path, about 1/2 way between Green Park tube station and the palace gates, near an area of benches and "Narnia" style lampposts ;)

And yeah, we look unique, so should be easy. Good for confusing tourists, who walk past the meet as it's in progress.
 
oh if i'd have more time to save up i'd love to go. airfairs to london are DIRT CHEAP right now. but i'd need spending money and somewhere to stay :( maybe i'll have enough spare cash next year LOL :)

Hey Taf - Don't forget I'm a red head now b4 you use me as a landmark ;)

I'm really unsure what to do about trade stuff. It's not like an indoor thing where you can just stick a box full in the back of the car so gonna have to bring selected items. But it looks like mainly hardcore collectors going and you'll probably already have it all so how will I know what to bring?

Hey Glor *waves like a carzy lady* why don't we go together???

The train to London goes from mine and through yours on the way. I too would be way to scared to go on my own but if we got together and meet up somewhere with baggins that would be fab!

Anyway Glor I will mail and PM you too just so you see it.

I don't really have any trades but would love to meet up with some of you guys anyway.

Oh how i would love to come but its just too far for me too. Maybe the welshies could get together some time, does anyone else live in mid wales, i know garej lives not far from me? Have fun you guys anyway!!
