Uftaki's G1 Herd - IMAGE HEAVY POST!

I recently went through and re-boxed my G1 herd into plastic tubs that will give me a little more space for "expansion", and as I was going through all of my G1s, I decided to photograph the whole lot of them. (Oddly enough, the 'Loving Family' ponies are the only ones not pictured by "set". I boxed the dads with the big brothers, the babies with the babies, and the mom with the assorted. Sticking to body-type for the boxing, I guess, but... I don't know why I didn't take a picture of them all together. Oh well. :/ )

This will be a very image-heavy post, as there are 51 photos here.

I did this out of curiosity, and wanting to have a picture record of my collection, as well as share it with all of you. A lot of you helped me to get a bunch of these ponies. And to start off... a photo of my original childhood ponies:
These were the 8 ponies I originally played with as a kid. They are my original toys - no replacements here. :smilepony:

From this set of 8... years later, I started going around to garage sales... and then checking out the thrift stores, occassionally going to Ebay, and the various sales + trades here on the MLPTP itself. As you can see... my herd has grown quite a bit. ^.^; (My original 8 will be present in their respective group photos). A few of these ponies are in rather rough shape -- missing tails, nibbled ears, rusty tails/hair, rubbed marks -- and there are a few I had just gotten, when I took these photos, and hadn't been able to clean them yet. c_c;; This collection is accurate as of Mar. 12, 2014. :smilepony:

-lol- I made a post about that a little while ago. She's had her mane + hair cut, but is in otherwise good condition. I found her by a FLUKE at a thrift store. She was in my basket the split-second I saw her up on the racks. XD

Awwww~! They're so pretty and cared for! I see a lot of the childhood ones that I lost here, it makes me nostalgic... And a lot of others are on my wishlist, like the Twice As Fancies... it makes me want them even more seeing them all together like this.

I had so many of those as a kid. I was always scared of the jewel eyed ones and I don't know why.
I can't even imagine the amount of time it took you to get all of those. I'm super jealous

And as for how long it took me... I'd say years, off-and-on. Checking out the random garage sale, scouring various thrift stores, and purchases/trades here on the MLPTP, and rare Ebay bids. A lotta patience. -lol-
