So I had time recently (ie: quit my real job) to finish up a couple of ponies that I had sculpted wings onto about a year ago. I don't recall which ponies I originally used, just that they were a yellow and a pink G3 earth pony. I hand sculpted the wings with Apoxie Clay from Aves Studio over a simple wire frame that is secured inside each pony's body. The manes and tails were rerooted with nylon hair from Dollyhair and then styled in ringlets. The symbols were also sculpted by hand with Apoxie Clay (Radiant Raspberry has a slice of Raspberry Pie and Citrus Summer has a trio of citrus fruit: orange, lemon and lime with a small orange blossom). The eyes, symbols and wings were then painted with acrylics and sealed for protection.

haha, saw them this moring on DA, wonderful as always, but the yellow is by far my favorite.

OMgosh those are simply scrumptious looking!! I love how you rooted the hair and did the ringlets--all the colors... just lovely.
