So who saw the eclipse today? My Dad got a pretty good picture considering how hard it was to get a good shot where he was. My Brother in law came through with some of those glasses for me so it was fun. The schools around here said if they parents keep their kids home today it excused so technically my niece got the day off of school due to Eclipse. That is story to tell later in life lol.

I did! We had over two minutes of totality. We had the glasses of course, plus the neighbor had his telescope out with a solar filter and he let us take a look while it was still in partial eclipse (didn't walk back over there during totality). I didn't have a filter for my camera so I only took a couple of shots during totality:

love the pictures. We did not get the total darkness but it did get very shady and cooler for a bit.

Oooh... those photos during the totality are awesome! :D

Didn't get a full eclipse here, only about 88%, but it was still so neat to see. A couple people had eclipse glasses that they let other people look through. Others were using more homemade tricks, like myself with a cereal box pinhole viewer. Someone else focussed the sun through binoculars onto black paper, and it had a really interesting effect!
