Mods, Please move this if in the unappropriate place. I wasn't sure if it was here or in the Friends Discussion.

I put an OK condition Sunburst up on Ebay, and it didn't meet my reserve. I really wanted $50 for him at least, but could part with him for $45.

I'm torn- should I relist him and chance it again? Should I email the high bidder and let them have it for their bid? or should I take a massive risk and try to sell him here at the TP?

If I really didn't need the money, I wouldn't be selling him at all.

Well, you could at least try here first, not going to cost you anything ;)

Edited to add- although with those marks I think $45 is pretty good, the market isn't booming at the moment.

You could try to offer to sell to the high bidder for $45. If they take it, great! If not you can try to offer it for their winning bid, or you could try to sell here.

It wouldn't hurt to ask the winning bidder what they would pay. Maybe you could strike a deal with her. It can't hurt to ask.

Please don't take this as being rude, but with his faults $50 would be a bit high in my opinion. He's covered in ink spots, both symbols are badly rubbed and he needs re-haired. If I were selling him I'd say $40 would be a generous offer. If he weren't so rare he'd really be a bait pony.

Good luck finding him a new home.

I kind of agree with Shlugh. If you wanted more for him, you could try remove-zit for the ink, and maybe try touching up his symbols with some matte finish testors, THEN relist with a starting bid of 30 or 45. Good luck with him!
