Alrighties, so about 2 days ago I posted an ad on craigslist looking for ponies, and I got my first response today!
So, the seller sent me a message with the following ponies~

They include the G1 Carrying case (broken latch) but all the ponies look to be in really good condition! like, really nice, I don't really see any major problems with them. And all for $25!

But problem is, I am really just interested in the case, blue pony and possibly the babies. The other ones are not really ones I would like to collect.
So, should I just buy the whole lot of em and just figure out what to do with them then? Or should I pass this up?

(For all I know, it could actually be a member on here or at the arena XD)

Buy! Keep the ones you like, and sell the others on here or even eBay (I'd be interested in some, as a matter of fact)! There's bound to be someone who'll love them, and you might even earn the $25 back!

Personally I would buy the lot and then sell or trade the ones I didn't want (although, knowing me, it's more likely I'd end up keeping them all... I'm a sucker). Are those the original collectors' ponies or the repro line?

I would guess that Cotton candy are retro. Also Blue belle and Minty looks like, but I'm not sure.

I would not buy. I do not think that retro variation ponies has that much demand... Or you need to sell them at low price. Those other ponies (not retro) doesn't have either so much value or demand.. I say it will take time to sell/trade them (I also could be totally wrong too :p) if that is alright with you then buy them :).

I do not believe these are retro. I have the retro and the eyes and colors are wong. Please ask for the hoof date before buying. Also, if they are vintage, which I believe they are, minty sells well. I feel you could get a nice resale on them, but probably not become rich lol.

I thought the Cotton Candy and Snuzzle at least looked a bit retro

The guy said at the bottoms of their feet that they all are numbered as 1982 - 1896, wouldn't the repo's be like 2012+ or something like that instead of the original date of release? (I have a couple of the other ponies and at the bottom of their feet I think they say 2010 or something, I thought they were bootleg at first before I realized they were re-releases XDD)

Yes they will have a 2007 date. retros are not marked with a 1980s date. Retro cotton candy is light pink with a much darker mane. Retro minty is a mint color unlike the vintage more green color. Retro ponies have smaller eyes and their legs are short. In my opinion those all look 80s. Here are some comparison photos to help. Make note of the minty's color and symbol size as well as the color differences of each pony and eye sizes.

*Holds up skull* That is the question. Sorry couldn't help myself. :p

Well my opinion on lots is this, if your not interested in the majority of what's in there then pass, if your happy or can live with most, get it. Who knows? There may be a lot or pony that comes along that makes you squeal with glee. Its up to you though

I say buy. $25 for everything is less than $3 per item, which for such nice looking ponies is very good. Plus there's bound to be interest in the ones you don't want.

You beat me to it.

Remember, you can post in Freebies forum! You can get some money back and they will go quickly!

At least in my own opinion

I would go for it. Anytime I don't have to pay shipping I jump at any g1s I find whether I have them or not (shipping to Canada is ridiculous expensive). $25 for what is there is a great deal especially factoring in selling the ones you don't want and regaining some, if not all, or your original cost. I can't see any cons really.

Also, some people will be willing to split the lots if you offer a certain amount....

Yup yup! Those are the ones~ I have both of those retro ones, they are all hard and not like the old ones at all XD

Buy. You might surprise your self by liking the other ponies after a time

Beautiful condition, ESPECIALLY that Sundance!
