Hello all!
I'm still trying to search for the best sealant to use on my customs (acrylic painted), and I want to know what's the best stuff you use?
I tested some Jo Sonja's stuff on a fakie and it just crackled and was ruined :( Thank god i tested on the fakie though! XD Is it meant to crackle, or was it the fact it was older than me? Most of the art stuff I own is my mother's from when she once created art, which was a long time ago....
I hear that Modge Podge is pretty good, would it work for me?

Any help is greatly appreciated :)

Watered-down Mod Podge may do the trick, but I've been using Artists' Varnish which is a matte sealant.

How it works, is the first layer you lay down, is glossy. You'd do one layer for the eyes to give them that wet depth appeal, then for the rest of the body you'd add approximately 2 additional layers to turn the glossy finish into a matte, so you build up the layer of protective sealant!

I use either Modge Podge glossy or matte, depending on if I want the pony shiny or not.

Thanks all :D I've bought Mod Podge and it worked perfectly! No crackling up and going yucky like the other stuff, Tested on a customized Lanard fakie and worked a dream :)
Probably post up pictures of the custom, I'm just so happy it all worked!
