Amanda and I get home a little while ago and I went out to get the mail (junk mail), get back to the house and amanda holds up a sorry we missed you paper from the USPS.

Thinking.......ok. I read it and they REFUSED to leave a package containing a MLP that I purchased from pikabubba.

The reason they didnt leave it was because it was a hazard reason :!:.


Since when are my little pony figures a hazard??


I'm off tomorrow to pick it up...........I give the post office a :first: on that one.
 
wow.... Good JOB! they definitely deserve a :first:!
The Usps never seems to stop amazing me.... *falls over laughing*

I believe that someone has decided to steal it...it's not up to the USPS to decide if it's a hazard.

It sounds funny but they probably wanted to make sure you *actually* got the package.
 
Lol. I've had this happen to me before as well, but it wasn't with a pony. XD I was very mad..XP
 
well it could be that it needed a signature or something. or the box was too big to leave in the mailbox? i know i've had that happen to me on a package from canada before. also if it's too cold they might not get out to go put the box inside the door (happened here too) so idk. depends upon the mail person i guess

Sorry I just read this ! I don't know why they did that. They had no idea it was a pony either. I didn't ask for signature confirmation. The box may have been too big for a mailbox but you've probably had boxes at your door before? I think it does depend on the mailman. Glad you got her though!

Now that's new to me. Mind you I bought a sheep's fleece from a shepherd recently (I spin my own yarn) and he had to open up the box and show them what it was then show them a picture of his sheep (he has one in his wallet lol) to show exactly what it was! They thought wool was a plant and that what he was sending me was some kind of insulation and thus a hazardous material!
