Well, I've seen some pretty awesome collection brag threads and had to get on it!
I got married last year and moved into a great but small house- no room for ponies. My parents, being the super-cool parents that they are, let me keep my collection in the closet of my old room! I spent a whole day taking everything out to display it and then just put it all back in tubs again! It was fun, though.


Behold... the Wonderous Pony Closet!

The G1s...

Before I had to pack everything long term, I used to display my MOC items on a pegboard- just like at the store! You can't see everything but it's a great way to make use of a small space.

Wow Aadra! You have an amazing collection. Thanks so much for sharing the pictures! It's too bad that you can't display it all the time. It's really something to look at. :)
 
So many MOCs. Just wow. All of their cards look fantastic too. Not a bent or crease anywhere to be seen.

Hopefully you'll be able to display them again soon. :)
 
Wooooooooooooooooow. Can I got shopping in your pony closet? I would so want to rip them out of the packages tho. they look so new and pretty! droooooooooooooooooool.
 
I'd love to have MOC's, but know I'd have to open them... I can't even keep the g3's i buy in their boxes.. I've tried, but their manes and tails are just calling me to comb them! So I've said no to buying MOC, someone else would appreciate that mintiness so much more!
 
I'm glad Florida homes don't have basements because my jaw would have fallen through the floor. That is an INCREDIBLE collection. I feel like I've visited your closet in my dreams before...

I've been collecting pretty much for as long as I can remember. I believe my very first pony was G1 Rainbow Starshine but I had over 80 ponies in my childhood collection. My dad was a manager and pharmacist for Wal-Mart and worked lots and lots of hours when I was small. My little bro and I didn't get to see him much for a few years so my mom would take us to Wal-Mart to visit him at work about once a week and we always got to get a toy! I picked ponies, obviously!
Even after I quit playing with ponies, I still snagged a few at garage sales and flea markets just for the warm fuzzy feeling they gave me. About 15 years ago, I got into active collecting and I have found some pretty great treasures in that time! 10 years ago, pony hunting was a lot more fruitful than it is now- every place had G1 ponies! Now, I feel lucky if I find a G3!

can we all come over and play. i would love to have that money ponies still packaged of course. just not sure if i can stop the temptation of wanting to open them all. hope one day you will have a big enough room to display them all.
