G1 The Peachy Question

Hi guys, I've been going crazy over researching Peachy lately. Maybe you can help me clear some things up.

When was flat foot Peachy released vs. concave foot Peachy? Personally, I have never seen a FF Peachy, only the CF that came with the Pretty Parlor. Was FF Peachy released in year one with the other FF ponies? To my knowledge, the Pretty Parlor wasn't released until Year 2. Did FF Peachy come with an earlier version of the Pretty Parlor? I don't have any evidence of this, but I would guess FF Peachy came with the very first releases of the Pretty Parlor. It is strange, because as far as I know the Pretty Parlor was released in Year 2.

Maybe it takes longer to manufacture playsets so they started production on them earlier than the single ponies?? Switching to the concave foot mold when they realized the FF ponies were too tippy? Just speculation on my part.

In addition, there's no FF Lemon Drop . . . only FF Peachy. A very mysterious pony!

more speculation, but with the amount of peachy variants it sounds to me like they were still trying to figure out what to do in regards to the collector's pose during the time of the pretty parlor's manufacture. maybe the parlor playset had been manufactured in advance before the show stable even went into production, which is why there are FF peachies and there aren't any FF lemon drops.

i don't think FF peachies are really that rare, maybe a little more sought after than CF, but peachy is peachy.

Im not sure, I had almost said wasnt there one sold with My Pretty Pony? But that was Butterscotch. When I look at the wiki it lists FF Peachy as its own release and concave Peachy as coming with the Pretty Parlor.

The Pretty Parlor was sold by mail order, but they never included Peachy. Most of the time it simply didn't come with any pony. (And I saw one brochure where it came with pearlized Baby Surprise, of all ponies!)

I think in some other countries and releases it came as a set without a pony but it did come with Peachy in America, UK, and Mexico at some point :O I found these pics on the wiki. Its hard for us to know all the individual releases and variations theres a lot!! There was even one with a Piggy pony too haha. Its endless.

Ahhh sorry, I wasn't clear! When it was sold in stores, it came with Peachy. But when it was sold by mail order, it usually didn't come with a pony.

Although I did find some brochures where Peachy is pictured . . . I don't think that would be the origin of the FF Peachy, though. The Collector ponies were always CF when they were mail orders.
