I had placed an and looking for 80's mlp & accessories for Robyn, Months ago. then i get a message from a lady 30 min away, saying she has tons, and her daughter hates them sooooo are you interested. Heck yeah!
I was technially working on blue berries()had a job), so i didn't break my deal with John.LOVE loop holes.lol
So she the lady about 28ish said she was an only child and saved her stuff for her daughter, However her little one hates mlp. So i asked her how much and she said $50.00, i just want it gone. So i said i'll drive down for a peek and go from their.
I was in shock, she was a great lady, frig their house was such a pad, i'd take the house to if it was for sale.WOW.
So there was 3 huge boxes their, i said ok, Robyn was into them before i even paid her.it was funny.
I'm still going throu stuff, and yes pieces are missing but i may sell or stash some away, till we have more room. All are pretty good shape and i gave mom $20 for gas
Big Thanks to Redkimber, she has the missing carosol seat we need.it's in the mail.
Rough pics, and i know some things aren't mlp.So i'll have to find them a home, later on.( the white jump post looking things for examlpe there's 3)? any ideas what they are. On to the bad pics.

Congratulations. Lots of great ponies and stuff for $50.
 
WOW. There are some very rare and valuable ponies/accessories there! and everything looks to be near-mint and unplayed with. Most of those ponies have factory (unbrushed hair) hair. and wow, wow, wow. It's a collectors DREAM!
 
it all truth's there Robyn's not mine.But i watch over them like a hawk.
Some pieces are broke/missing, but i'm not picky. i'm hiding the smaller accessories till she's a bit older, or if i'm playing with her. Everything had a bath, and i removed all of the metal washers, sadley thou a few needed to have their heads glued on.But everything nice and clean now.
 
Oh, I didn't realie they are still playthings. ^-^

I would make one suggestion. If you didn't remove the white seaponies head (with the red hair) Leave it on. (and don't let that one in water. They'll OOZE rust!) She's super hard to find in that condition. It took me 10 years of looking to find one almost as nice. I'd just faint if I came across her as nice as yours! (I'm sure someone here would give your daughter a HUGE box of ponies for that one!)

Sorry, it 's to late for the seaponies, but their head went back on great(i like them better when they twist around)hehe. No they both were in really icky shape inside. I didn't want them to linger anylonger with that scum in them. And non of her ponies are allowed back in the water after they've been dried inside.(except those happy meal ones.) yes, i'm sure some are ready to choke me, but all i can say is sorry.
 
Nobody would wish ill on you! those are your ponies to enjoy with your daughter. And again, great score. Personally I've never come accross a lot that nice myself. (unless I break the bank on ebay) I am still in awe of that find.

Wow, I really couldn't tell she had internal rust from that picture. Most of the times, if that's the case her body will turn brown and splotchy on the outside too. (yes, I will clean out seaponies with that awful crud inside. You did save her from more damage. and all that grime/rust isn't good for a child to be playing with).

I may be one of those "all original" collector types myself. I will try and find ponies that look pristine and untouched, with factory everything for my display collection. The not so nice ones I come accross I clean, groom and give away to friends kids, sell, display around the house etc. But everybody's different.

They are your ponies, and yours to enjoy. :wink: I just thought I'd let you know about that sea pony, since she's a "rare" and if you wern't all that fussy for her, you could easily trade her to someone for another big box of ponies.

You are very thoughtful FantasticFirefly, Thanks for all the great imput. I know nobody's going to think ill of me and are probably very happy for Robyn.
We play that Carosol everynight since i but it together, it's become a must at bedtime.
It was kinda a fluke that i opened her, cause Robyn came up to me and said the hole on her head was dirty. My sister gave Robyn her's from when she was young & i got one in a diff lot before , butboth are pretty tan, and yes she is pretty white. But i'll be putting her on Robyn's shelf and she can play with the other's. I try to keep the best ones on her shelf. But yeah, i never really look into the value. If she ends up with some doubles(kinda baity) i'll give them to my firends daughter who is 2 mths older then Robyn. We were best buds growing up, and are girls are to. She's in the Strawberry shortcake relam & i'm in the mlp relam.hehe it's so weird. but great.

thanks, we're way ahead on the playing.she loves feeding the babies, she even is potty training them. it's to cute
 
wow :eeek: that is one amazing pony purchase! you are so lucky and the most important thing the fun you can both have playing with them!
