:pumpkin2:Diesel Husky's 2nd Pumpkin Carving Extravaganza :pumpkin2:​

:pumpkin2: Carve: A pumpkin. It must be MLP themed (after all, this is a MLP board). It can be a pony, a pony's symbol, head, body, anything pony like or pony related.

:pumpkin2: Photograph: You will have to post a picture of your results. Two photos are accepted per entry (one lit with a candle, lights out, and one normal). If you only take pictures of it in the dark or in daylight, only one photo will be posted as your entry. You can post as many photos as you want, but you should tell me which photo you want me to choose for the voting. Post your photos in this thread.

:pumpkin2: Win: There will be one first place prize which will be chosen by votes Surprise gift from the TP Prize bank, as well as one *spooktacular honorary* prize, which will be chosen by Diesel Husky himself. Diesel Husky will be picking his favorite based on creativity, execution, and originality... of course, treats are also accepted as bribes :p

Well, what are you waiting for now? It's time to start carving those pumpkins, since the contest ends on Halloween :276:
 
I'm scared now... Those gorgeous blue eyes look like they can be very critical of pumpkin carving skills! I better go find me a pumpkin! (It's been so windy that nobody in my neighborhood has pumpkins out because they just blow away, so I haven't even tried one.)

i did a double sided pumpkin. not my best work. i was kind of in a hurry. one side is a pony the other isnt.

I used a pumpkin sideways because it grew weird naturally. Used a green tea light and wig.

Here, with Aslan (cat) avoiding the photo shoot. "Get next to the pumkin! You are a black cat! You NEED to be in this picture!" "Nooooooo!" I have many other shots of only his tail near the pumpkin, or other cat-refusing-to-pose type shots. Silly cat. :hugegrin:

I'm carving mine right now.... trying to get it done before tomorrow! :S
 
Alright! Got it done with less than an hour before midnight, ha ha ha! Now for all the clean-up... aw....

Anyways, here it is:

In real life you can see the lit up image better, but my camera sucks.... >.<

So I went for a G1 Jack-O-Lantern, and choose one of the scariest things that comes to mind... Smooze!! I chose baby Moondancer as the victim because I love her. So she'll forgive me, ha ha ha.

Time spent: about 8-9 hours including time to come up with an image, sketch it, make the sketch into a stencil then draw it on. The carving was about 5 or 6 hours itself.

Anyways...yeah. There we go. Happy Haunts everyone!! :witch1:
