September, October, November, December!

Is anybody as excited for the "ber" months as I am?
It's been a hot time down here in Texas and I'm so ready for the heat to simmer down a bit!
(even though usually these days were still sweating on Halloween lol and wearing shorts on Christmas)

What are some of yalls favorite things to do in these "ber" months.

I want to go to a pumpkin patch so bad this year, I've never been to an actual big one!

Decorate for Halloween and Christmas of course. Drink hot choc. Enjoy colder weather.

I am not ready for summer to be over  (despite loving everything Halloween and Christmas), but I started doing these like advent calendar things for my mom the last 3 years and I have been brainstorming ideas for it so that’ll be fun to work on.
And idk if I can actually afford to do it but I really wanna do a table in the artist’s alley at the anime con near me, up till 2020 going to that is always something I love doing in the fall but this would be my first time doing a table

I live right next to the Ohio State University, so college football games are a huge part of local culture! I am still kind of a newbie at watching football, but it's fun getting excited with everyone and learning about something new.

I also love fall walks in the woods and cemeteries and looking for good mushrooms to eat!

I started a very strict diet about a month ago, and I'm looking forward to my first big cheat day on Thanksgiving!

I have awesome candy corn earrings and soon I will be able to start wearing them!

I'm going to see my favorite band (WEEN) on September 12 so YAYyayYAY!

CROCK. POT. MEALS.

Scary movies in October, John Hughes movies in November, and Christmas Movies in December!

Decorations!!!!!

Time to start looking for a new girl rat to add to my clan. Then we will breed her in the Spring if she is happy and healthy!

Making more hot drinks at work and fewer cold and frozen drinks! I love steaming milk and making pretty latte art!

I am so ready for the ber to be here!! I have already started putting some Halloween decorations out but by the 3 day weekend I should have it all done. I love this time of year. My favorite right now is the Hallmark Ornaments releases, the anticipation of what the stores are putting out for Halloween and the sounds of the insects outside start to change. Go fall!!

I will transition into fall mode this weekend, even though it's supposed to be 95 on Monday but I don't care. I'm ready to light a pumpkin spice candle and make some stew!
I have already been making stew. Beat you STEW it lol

Woohoo! It is officially the "ber" months!!

I already have my Halloween decorations out i got last year in the swap from @Locket

Update: pics! Everything but the tombstone and pumpkin were gifts from locket

It's now officially a "ber" month. It's going to be a very pleasant 84 degrees. I can take the dog out for a walk!

Nope, the heat can stay lol. Just send all the heat to Florida and I’ll be happy. Sure I run the AC during Xmas but otherwise things are as usual for me on the farm.

But I’d rather it not be in the 100s everyday lol

My birthday is actually on Halloween
Mine's on Christmas, and I am determined to have a non-Christmas-themed party this year:rofl:
Yesssss, give me cold and Halloween. I’m ready!
I am ready for the coldness!
Yess, I wanna wear all the cute sweaters, I got on clearance this spring!

I actually hope, we get a nice frost over here in Europe, so the weeds freeze and my allergies leave me alone for a few months.

Also, I'm really looking forward to getting some more plush fabric, as it's going to be in season from late september.

I love Halloween! I've started having a little tradition of a Halloween movie marathon, watching all manner of not-so-scary Halloween-ish and Halloween-adjacent movies throughout the month (eg: Hocus Pocus and Nightmare Before Christmas are definites, but also things like the Goonies (pirates and hidden treasure) and the Wizard of Oz (most iconic witch ever!). Starting in on it today, even! :3 (though saving all of the really spooky stuff for October).

Also getting in on the tummy-warming goodness, cooking some homemade chili in my crock-pot tonight! :9 I'll be bringing (some of!) it along for a last-gasp-of-summer BBQ with friends from work tomorrow.

I also really love Christmas, and do another movie marathon for that holiday, too. XD

The "ber" months mean back to work for me! Classes officially start the day after Labor Day, so I'm about to get awfully busy! (Which means I won't be around the TP quite as frequently.)

We actually got a nice monsoon last night and the rain continued some today. So we aren't over 100 for the first day of September! Supposed to still be sprinkling a bit tomorrow too...

I'm looking forward to less heat (Arizona and all that) with cooler nights. I love the fall colors and changing leaves (of which there are none in Arizona...) And Thanksgiving is AWESOME! Last year we invited any students in the Dance Department who didn't have a place to go to come to our place for dinner. Planning to do that again this year.

And then of course: CHRISTMAS! :xmastree::snowman::snow:
