Tell Me about OxiClean and Glitter

I'm cleaning up my ponies for photos for the hair match guide, and I've never used OxiClean to clean a pony with a glitter symbol. I know that hot, hot water is bad, but can the OxiClean method be used successfully with glitter symbols in lukewarm or cool water?
