TAF shy pose Sundance?

I was reading Debra Birges book the other day and she mentioned a TAF shy pose Sundance that's very rare. I've never even heard of her till now, anyone ever see her?
 
yep. I think Debra mentioned that her hair changed color in the sunlight too.
 
Maybe its a mistake, I mean TAF Sundances pose (Like Mirror Mirrors am I correct?) is fairly similar to the applejack shy pose. Maybe she got her words mixed up and didn't mean 'shy' pose?
 
Well she showed a picture of that one. But she mentioned shy pose, which I'm guessing is like Bowties pose. I have no clue. I thought it was weird, since I've never seen her.
 
The regular TAF Sundance is in sort of a shy pose facing the other direction (Sundance and Megan have streaks of hair that change color in the sunlight). She's not what I'd consider rare.

I don't think there's an actual Bowtie-shy-pose Sundance. Was this information from Debra's first book - The World of My Little Pony? If so, it's probably misinformation. That book is a bit outdated.
 
Oh...that TAF Sundance. I'm not sure she's that rare. It's the TAF Megan and Sundance set. I have that one. Both Megan and Sundance's hair will change color in the sun. But it might be rare to find one in good condition though. Mine is because it's from my original set.
 
Yeah it was from her first book

She showed pictures of shy pose sundance, so soft shy pose sundance, mirror mirrors pose taf sundance with color changing hair, then she mention the shy pose taf sundance with no picture, claiming it was htf. *Shrugs* Would of been cool if she was real.
 
This may explain something I've wondered about for a while. A couple of years ago, I sold 2 TAF Sundances for £20 ($40) each. At the time, I was astounded by them going so high, but put it down to their general great condition and the fact their hair still changed colour.

I'm now wondering if all or some of the people bidding thought the TAF Sundances in question were "rare shy pose" ponies.

I guess you could say she's shy... just not as shy as Bowtie ;) Her mane does indeed change color in the sun.
 
Wow, I didn't know her hair changed colour in the sun! Megans too? I always wondered about the differences between TAF Megan and regular Megan. Huh. I've never heard/seen a TAF Sundance in the traditional "shy" pose... would be rare if she's out there. I love the TAF Sundance, I don't have her as I have the original, but I think she looks so pretty that way, and with the lighter hair.
 
you never know, new ponies pop up all the time, and if there is a shy pose taf sundance, obviously no one knows anything about it, so she would be ultra rare! wow! :shock:
 
OK,Thread is quite old but I just wanted to tell you that the Bow Tie Shy Pose Taf Sundance (what an expression ;) ) DOES exist! A friend of mine owned her but had to sell her because of financial problems ....
 
Wow, my childhood sundance i got from the thrift and thought was a fakie till a few years ago is rare? o.0 lol I dunno, I know i see the brokeneck version in this area at flea markets regularly. prolly one of the most common ones i see if they even have G1's, her Tootsie tails and Starshine

Somebody told me that this version is in fact a production error,the wrong bodyform (?) was sent into the machines that print the regular taf sundance symbol .... I wish I had her,but I didn´t collect ponies at that time *cry*
 
I doubt she exists . . . No offense to your friend, but it's sooo easy to misremember things like that. For years after I sold her at a garage sale (weep!) I could have sworn my first tooth Baby Lickety-Split was in Baby Tic-Tac-Toe's pose . . . As it turned out, I was remembering her pose from her BACKCARD! I also thought my BBE Baby Heart Throb had winged heart symbols . . . Nope, just the backcard again. ;)
