Super High Auction

He looks mint-mint-mint ... i had a lot of Chiefs and they were not that white...
But i think it is too expensive too.
 
Prices have skyrocketed lately.. Tax return season. It's about the worst time to buy ponies now on Ebay.
 
He looks incredibly mint, still wouldnt pay that much for him, I love my scuffed up one, lol.

*shudder* Wow, I paid less for a mintier one with all accessories. He's a fave of mine, but I would have trouble justifying that much money. Someone must have really desperately wanted him! :)

Grrr! i sold a COMPLETE mint chief last year for $35. Guess i should have waited.
 
i have all accessories for mine and he's bright white, he's my favorite and about the only G1 i kept after selling mine off
 
It's high, but I'm not shocked. I've seen super-white Chiefs go for that before. I think a truly MINT Chief is worth around $35ish, but people can get pretty darn caught up in minty-ness....so I don't think it's completely outrageous. ;)
 
I had a Chief that was that mint once. I traded him for Moondancer and Firefly, both fair condition. Ah, the horrors of being a new trader and having no idea what things are worth.
 
my chief is minty mint with all of his accessories.....and he's been played with......and has some cancer spots coming up on his neck where his hair & bandana lay. (the little things they forget to include in the auction description & pictures)

(i know, it's a bad joke.)
