Does anybody know where a Sundance in collector pose comes from. There is currently a listing of one in Germany and it already reached an astronomic high price. I couldn't find any info about this pony.
Unfortunately I'm not able to upload a pic from my iPad. Is there an App for this Forum or an iPad friendly version?
 
Whhhhhhaaaaaat? It's a pony I've never seen?! I'm not up on variants but I can honestly say I've never heard of a collector pose Sundance. She's gorgeous! Maybe someone with more info on variants will help.

Or I could repaint and sun fade a Snuzzle/Peachy and repaint the symbols lol
 
Interesting. Does anyone else remember the baby paddle ball fiasco about 15 years ago on german ebay? Someone took a fake baby pony, replaced the head with a real baby pony head, and replaced the tail, and tried to sell it as a variant? I'm not saying that's what's happening here, that auction came to mind when I saw this auction.

If the Sundance is Legit - wow. I wonder what it's back story is/was and how it came to be. Has there been a photo in hasbro promotional material showing this sundance?
 
I was watching her since she was listed for a Euro. Now she is at over 1300 Euros, so I'm not bidding on her.
I thought the same thing. I might take a birthflower pony and make one for myself as I mostly do when I can't afford the real deal. I should have made an offer to the seller as soon as I saw the listing. He clearly didn't know what he/she had there.
 
Sky Rocket, the symbol doesn't look custom painted to me and she is not offered as collectors item. The seller says its a used toy from the 80's. No word about variant or orgin of the pony.

I hope the buyer comes forward with more pics when they have her safe in hand. For a CP fan this is all a dream!! :)
