Hi everyone, I'm new to the group and just completed my first mlp reroot, now I'm wondering how I go about styling the hair so that it is like factory mlp hair-where it kind've poofs up a bit on top, it doesn't lie flat against the head and also how do you curl it under on the ends so it's not stick straight? thanks so much, all advice and help is much appreciated

What I've always done with my vintage ponies is wet the hair, curl it around the neck, and keep it in place with a loose scrunchie until it dries. Once dry, you can fluff it up a bit with a comb and it looks pretty nice.

As for rerooted hair -- I've generally found that it tends to fall into place pretty much on its own, but the same technique should work.

If you're working with straight hair, you could fold up a piece of paper towel to put between the mane and the pony's neck. Then wrap the hair around the neck as dollsnhair suggested. If the hair doesn't want to stay, I use a damp paper towel to wrap tightly over the hair, around the neck and let it dry.
