Stolen pony collection in Texas--how to identify and help get them back

This makes me mad and sick to the stomach. Her own brother did this to her. Out of anger? Unacceptable. Thats sad if your own family member would do that. If this had happened to be I would be in an emotional break down. I barely let anyone near my ponies. and if we have block parties, my pony room door is locked! I will be on the look out though.
 
i hope they get returned to her i know whats its like to lose your toys from childhood :(
 
That is just horrible..... I really do hope she gets her toys back. What kind of world do we live in when your family member does that to you? Sick. :(
 
I definitely know how that feels. It wasn't my brother who took all of my ponies away when I was a kid and not tell me, it was my mother. I will never forget what she did, along with countless other things she's done which is why I haven't seen her in years.

I really hope this girl can get most if not just some of her ponies back.

That's so awful! I hope she'll be able to get at least a few of her originals back.
 
That's horrible. Not just because she lost her ponies, but what awful people are out there. I'll keep a lookout for them.
 
How horrible! I sometimes ask MLP sellers on (Dutch) EBay to send me pictures of the hooves to see what country a pony is from. Maybe this is a good way to secretly check for MES without scaring the seller of the stolen ponies of? Just ask for pictures of hoofs to "check the markings"?
I really hope they turn up and she'll get them back!

Just thought I'd give this thread a lil bump.

I will certainly start checking any pony I buy for a "MES"
on the bottom of their hooves.

Sounds like that brother is a horrid character, with perhaps a secret grudge harbored inside from childhood. Maybe he always felt like his parents favored the daughter.. ?
Either way.. that is just.. mean-spirited.
He deserves to have his toes stepped on.
I'd never do something like that to one of my siblings.

I dont trust my father with my ponies.
Every year my Mother and I go to Kentucky to visit my grandmother.
Three years in a row.. I came home to find some of my stuff missing!
It started out with Movies (dvds), then went on to Video Games missing.
Then last year.. I found my Sapphire & Diamond bracelet gone!
I finally confronted him about all my stuff missing.
After an hour of snapping back n forth.. dad finally admited he had pawned my stuff!
I was sooo mad.. beyond words.
Especially over the bracelet.
It was a present to me... from an old boyfriend.
To this day.. I am heart-broken over that.. :(

My Father and I still have alot of issues we need to work through.

But.. back to the MLPs..
Everyone.. please start checking your ponies for a "MES" on their feet.
 
I wonder if she ever found any....That's really messed up. Poor girl.
 
I don't understand what would possess someone to do that. If I were that girl and the mom, I wouldn't be talking to him for a few years. He was told specifically NOT to touch them and he not only did that about sheer *$$^()#$^ but he permanently lost and sold both his sisters and moms stuff. I wonder if he had a deal with that lady? I hope they get some of their ponies back and I'm glad the mom got some of her stuff back. What a rotten relative! How'd he like it if some of his stuff was thrown away or sold without his permission? I bet he'd be throwing a fit! Its one thing if he didn't know what stays and what goes but he did it maliciously and that would cause me to not forgive for a very looong time. I'm guessing his relationship between him and his family's not too good, if I buy any with those initials i'll send it to them

I would love to go and check the Flea Market. I think that they re stocked on G1s so there is a pretty good chance I could find one with MES ;)
 
I guessed I missed this thread back when I was lurking. I thought my tub of Ponies being stolen was bad! At least my brother didn't toss them out, that is just flat crappy.

I wonder if she ever got any back. I'm going to dig through my Ponies and look at them for MES. I know it's a huge state and chances are slim, but stranger things have happened.

How sad.
 
Is there any update on this story? After all, this did happen 3 years ago :s
