Guest, The MLPTP's Fundraiser and Prize Giveaway will be returning on June 1st! Check out this thread for all the latest news!
Well, I absolutely love her ♥Thanks Sass!
I was inspired to make her after spending time in Hong Kong where waffles were a common street food/snack, usually with toppings like spicy tuna or a generous helping of gooey melted chocolate. I asked a local friend what they call these waffle snacks in Cantonese, and he said it's "gezibing". Later when I was trying to design a flutter pony I remembered that experience, so Gezibing was born!
He’s really cool, the pinkish glow around him looks so good. I’m not much of a colored pencil artist myself (I definitely prefer the flat colors I can get with markers) but you made it look great! I’ve never heard of that trick beforeThanks guys! Your kind words mean the world to me!
I'm getting really tired of having only my phone to capture art & touch up since my computer has been dead for months. So I'm thinking of opening up simple commissions to help save for repairs. Would that be something anyone would be into?
I haven't really been enjoying the limitations of coloring in marker so I want to play around with other mediums! Yesterday I ordered a glass dip ink pen and I'm pretty excited to try it!
In the meantime, I rarely ever work with colored pencils but I heard you can go over it with baby oil or vegetable oil and it will kind of blend them better and seal everything in.If anything it does make coloring feel more complete in a strange way. Here's my test drawing. What do you think? (Sorry for sizes... I don't know how to resize on my phone. ;
THAT BABY!!! Oh, the expression! OH THE CUTESThanks Grace Ruby!! I did not think about referencing the game! Now I'm wondering if there's any merch out there with front facing examples.
Here's random doodles for today~
