St. Patrick's Day Custom Swap - Round Two! Done! Leaving feedback!

Rrrr! Sorry for the double post, but I'm having a paint issue. It's going on REALLY smoothly and is the perfect shade, but I've noticed that at the edges, like where I stop applying the paint to let it dry before adding another coat, it's turning....chalky? I may have to post a pic to show you, but I can't get it to stop and I can't seem to cover it, because everytime I do it just moves the edges. ???

I have switched my makeup sponge several times, ALWAYS use clean water and change it frequently, and have also tried using a paintbrush, and it's the same no matter what I do. I guess it's just the paint, but MAN, has anyone ever had that happen? :violin:
 
That is odd o_0 How old is the paint? That's really weird sounding...

It's like 6 months old. And I've used it before without this problem. It's weird! It looks a bit like white-veined marble.
 
That is weird o_0 I always feel like my paint is a like "chalky" before I seal it, but I've never gotten a marbled effect before!

Are you using it straight out of the bottle, or are you watering it down? H2O or paint thinner? That's really weird... I know sometimes if we get a good rain storm or something our well water gets kinda funky and can make my paint do something similar.

On a different note: Rist, I've sent you my check-in a little early. I've been pretty scatter-brained the last few days & didn't want to forget :tongue2:

I'm using it straight. I think it's just the paint separating, lol! Well, what do you want for cheap craft paint? :laugh: In any event, a quick scrub with clean water seems to have fixed it without hurting the color of the paint, so ONWARD!

I received a gorgeous custom from lucky today! Lucky picked my FAVORITE colors and symbols for this one, and I LOVE it! :biggrin:
